Villayna deSinisca

(IC) What name or title do you go by?
- My name is Villayna deSinisca. While I do carry the title Baroness, it is not something I flaunt or expect non-sin'dorei to acknowledge. The game of nobles is one played during times of peace.
(IC) What is your gender and race?
- I am a female Sin'dorei.
(IC) What is your class in life? Why did you choose to follow this class?
- I am a blood knight...or paladin, I suppose, as some would call us now. I felt this line of training would best help my...my people to regain their strength and fight our enemies.
(IC) How would you describe yourself?
- I am a determined and loyal individual.
(IC) What drives you in life? Why do you want to be Grim?
- My goals drive me. A peaceful life would find me bored quickly, I think. I want to be Grim because there are some things that cannot be accomplished alone, and if I must ally myself with others, I wish to be with the one group that has remained true to their vision since I first became acquainted with them.
(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?
- I have belonged to the organizations known as Fates Hand (twice) and Ordo Letalis. One was filled with incompetence, and the other with people who were more worried about their own glory than the goal of the team.
(IC) What are your thoughts on the pact between the Alliance and the Warchief Thrall?
((since I know the Grim officially have incorporated the Wrathgate into their lore, I will assume Villayna knows of it, even though her character has not gotten to that quest point yet))
- There was a time when I would have answered this differently. As long as the Alliance stayed out of my way and did not interfere with my plans, I would pass them by. But now, this King of theirs is too dangerous and the stakes are too high. They may still have uses as they see the Lich King as an enemy, but I do not trust them, and I will not turn my back to them.
(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members. What does that mean to you?
- I will remain in-character at all times (minus OOC channels).
(OOC) The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by structure and a defined chain of command with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies. How does your character's personality and storyline follow the Grim Mandate? Is there any conflict between how you want to play your character and the theme of the Grim? If so, what do you expect out of you joining?
- Villayna does not consider herself evil, but she is VERY much a "the ends justify the means" type of person. The goal is everything, and as long as the goals of the Grim and her own goals coincide, she will be an asset to the cause. While this may sound wishy-washy, she is actually a VERY faithful and loyal minion to those she has pledged herself to...to a fault, even. Those who know her secrets can testify to this. With the fall of Prince Kael'thas, she is currently in need of new leadership to point her in the right direction. (( Unlike Mortica, Villayna and the Grim would be a good fit ))
(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line? Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
- I have only done limited IRL role-playing, but I've been ingame roleplaying a bit since I joined Twisting Nether.
(OOC) Do you have any previous WoW experience? (PvP, Raiding, Battlegrounds, Different Servers, Different Guilds, Different Factions, etc.)
- If I'm not roleplaying, I'm usually raiding. I have limited PvP experience.
(OOC) What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
- Looking for a place to further my roleplaying and have a group committed to experiencing all of the content available in the game.
(IC/OOC) Do you have anything further to add?
(( I'm not sure how long it will take for her to get to 80, but I will be working on her diligently now that I have decided to commit the time to her. While she is ret for leveling, I do plan to turn her back into a healer when she completes her leveling ))
