Grim Application for Kikhmaaz

1. This is Kexti, and I do a lot of RP with various members of the Grim. In particular I’ve had a lot of interaction with Syreena, Lilliana, and Cobrak. I do RBGs with Drinn, CMs and RP with Malhavik, and more RP with Kerala and Lupinum.
2. Yes. I’m very active on TNG, and adding another, more closely knit forum shouldn’t be any problem given I compulsively check my email and such.
3. I’ve been doing RP for ten years now. I started GMing a 3.5 game in high school, became president of my university’s tabletop club while running a weekend campaign, and now I do my RP in WoW and over Roll20. I’m a heavy RPer in the sense that I like to goof off OOC but IC I really commit to a character. When I’m in WoW, and there’s RP happening, or RP can be made to happen, I bring my A-Game storytelling face.
4. Yes. I played in an evil game (Way of the Wicked) as a LE Wizard. I’m also a GM, so my experience is mostly in playing evil characters, at least so the PCs can beat them up. Kex’ti himself skirts the alignment somewhat, as Syreena knows.
5. Yes, I’ve been heavily involved in Sanctuary, but Kikhmaaz is a fresh character.
6. Yes, I’m applying on Kikhmaaz as a roleplaying exercise and also to finally have a Grim character. You guys be awesome.
7. Kikhmaaz is a High Arakkoa Druid. Since BC I’ve loved the Arakkoa, and the variant of them being sun-worshipping Nazis leaves a lot of cool room for a character to develop and also be artistic in his cruelty. Plus, there’s a subreddit called /r/englihtenedbirdmen which is a hilarious perspective for a character to look at other races from. I chose druid because it’s a canonical class that relies on stellar magic, and one of the only High Arakkoa followers you can get is a balance druid. I’m fully aware that this is a bit of a stretch from the standard seven. However, I plan on making extensive use of the Relic of Rukhmar toy, and have an incharacter justification in that he relies on illusion magic to approach his enemies rather than druidic shapeshifting, since he’s going to be balance.
8. Primarily, I want to RP, but I’d be super stoked to do arena with him as balance, or potentially use this character’s attributes as a proxy for bringing one of my other characters to Grim activities for the sake of making it a fully-Grim experience.
9. PvE experience has taken place of late on a mistweaver monk. I’ve done most of HBRF, will be leading a N. HFC, and plan on taking the N. HFC group to at least Heroic. I do challenge modes on the weekends as well, and have run numerous raids as a DPS DK.
10. PvP experience extends further back to BC as a rogue, but since MoP, I’ve been playing Kex’ti as my RBG character, and Scythemia/Tesonii as my arena character. I think balance would be awesome to bring along to arena or RBG once he got geared. I did a lot of juggernaut PvP in SWTOR on Syforce, Jedi Covenant.
11. Yes, Kikhmaaz follows standard Arakkoa naming conventions. Scraw.
12. Performance is fine. No lag, but current connection somewhat dodgy, will be better once I move (shortly.)
13. Kikhmaaz (leveling): http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/r ... aaz/simple
a. Scythemia/Tesonii: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/r ... mia/simple
b. Kexti: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/r ... xti/simple
14. Right now, I’m slowly leveling him up, and will likely focus on Kexti first in 6.2. I plan on getting him to 100 soon. I basically play him probably 40% of my online time.
15. Yes, no questions.
16. Yes. Kikhmaaz wants blood. If the Grim wants blood from him, they’ll get that, and a lot of carved up bones detailing his fallen foes.
17. I realize the character is a bit unusual, and if this is too far out of the norm for the Grim, that’s totally fine, I’ll still have fun RPing with you guys on Kex/Tes.

Thanks for your application, Kikhmaaz.

After considerable discussion, the leadership has determined that non-standard races will not be admitted into The Grim.

Good luck with your role-play, and we'll see you on the battlefield.
