Grim Application For Orgog
How did you hear about The Grim? Do you know anyone in The Grim?
Seen them roleplay a lot and heard about how they like killing things. That is perfect for my orc, so here I am.
The forums are The Grim’s primary method of communication. Will you check them regularly (at least a few times a week)?
I check all my forums on a regular basis; I don’t expect to do any less for the Grim’s.
Tell us about your roleplaying experience. In WoW? Elsewhere? Do you consider yourself a heavy RPer? What does that mean to you?
I have RP’d for a few years in WoW primarily. I have also played and DM’d DnD games and have been writing stories for many years beyond that.
The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild. Do you have any experience playing a character of this alignment or a character archetype that believes in structure with evil intent?
I have invented characters of most sorts, and maintaining a character of orderly evil should not be a challenge for me. I have certainly considered playing such a character, but have yet to do so.
Have you been part of any other guilds in World of Warcraft? If so, who were they and what server do or did they reside on? Let us know of your experience with them and what made you decide to either leave or continue to stay.
I have been in the Twilight Empire, Order of the Forsaken, and Sanctuary on either Ravenholdt or Twisting Nether. I have been roleplaying with TE specifically for several years, the Order was a regular guild for a while, and Sanctuary is more recent.
Are you applying on an alt (non-main) character? If so, what are you looking for here that you are not getting from your main character? If you are feeling honest or adventurous, please let us know who your main is.
My main is Brinnea Velmon, in Twilight Empire. I’m looking for some Horde action that does not limit my allowance of in-game combat. Orgog is an alt.
What race and class is this character? Why did you choose this race and class?
Orgog is an orc warrior, which I chose because I decided to race change my old undead warrior. Orc had the most potential in my mind for a character that I could flesh out quite a bit while still retaining a clear archetype and personality type.
What are your expectations for your character after joining The Grim? What aspect of the game do you wish to focus on (raids, rated battlegrounds, arenas, challenge modes, achievements, etc.)?
To PvP as much as possible and focus mainly on IC PvP. Raiding is something I do on Alliance side, but I might pop in when I have time.
What is your PvE (player-versus-environment) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a raid environment? Do you have any PvE experience from other MMO games?
In WoW, I have PvE’s more this expac than any other. I have only experienced raiding up to normal difficulty and feel most comfortable doing so on a dps character. Frost DK is my most experienced setup.
What is your PvP (player-versus-player) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a PvP environment? Do you have any PvP experience in other MMO games?
I have yet to get into rated anything in PvP, but I have PvP’d casually for a good while on my DK. Warrior will take only slight adjustment.

I accidentally put a common user name for myself rather than my character name, so I’ll need to get that changed later.
How is your computer performance when playing World of Warcraft? What is your FPS/load times during heavy graphical or high population times? Is your internet connection stable?
My computer runs WoW at its lowest settings reliably and lag is usually minimum. Internet connection is as stable as college wifi allows for during school times.

What days/times do you typically play this character?
I play largely around afternoon-night times all week server time. I keep battle.net open in case I’m needed, so I’ll be sure to share my btag later.

I have read the Mandate, and my character will live up to it. He always has.

I remember Brinnea from my few months last year as dirty Alliance in TE. Fun player, very active. Hopefully active on this alt too! :)
