How did you hear about The Grim? Do you know anyone in The Grim?

- WoW forums and Guild finder.

The forums are The Grim’s primary method of communication. Will you check them regularly (at least a few times a week)?

-Yes.

Tell us about your roleplaying experience. In WoW? Elsewhere? Do you consider yourself a heavy RPer? What does that mean to you?

-I have no RP experience, however I enjoy playing D&D and I want to broaden my horizons. RP'ing means to me being part of a community, acting to my character/faction accordingly.

The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild. Do you have any experience playing a character of this alignment or a character archetype that believes in structure with evil intent?

-I think "evil" is perspective, killing alliance and promoting horde supremacy isn't evil to me, following rules and guidelines to promote the beliefs of Grim won't be an issue for me.

Have you been part of any other guilds in World of Warcraft? If so, who were they and what server do or did they reside on? Let us know of your experience with them and what made you decide to either leave or continue to stay.

-I have been in many guilds since vanilla, I started on Shadowmoon and was there until the end of BC and the server started to die. Since then I have been bouncing around trying to find a good fit for me. A good fit for me is a close knit guild with similar goals, accepting of other people, and actually watching each others back. I love being on a pvp server, but on regular pvp servers it's full of townies that don't know/remember what world pvp is.

Are you applying on an alt (non-main) character? If so, what are you looking for here that you are not getting from your main character? If you are feeling honest or adventurous, please let us know who your main is.

What race and class is this character? Why did you choose this race and class?

-Goblin DK, I chose a goblin for a few reasons, first I think they are hilarious. To see a tiny being rolling into combat in between massive races makes me smile. I enjoy their lore and racial abilities. I chose a DK for a couple of reasons. Since vanilla I had played a shaman and hunter. I loved 2hand ENH, until they bring that back, and useful totems (which they never will) shamans just won't be the same. Hunters are great, a lot of fun, but overall have a bad rep because they are the most played class. So I wanted to try tanking, picked a DK and thoroughly enjoy it. I enjoy their story and how they came to be, as well as their viability in almost any situation.

What are your expectations for your character after joining The Grim? What aspect of the game do you wish to focus on (raids, rated battlegrounds, arenas, challenge modes, achievements, etc.)?

-My character is not a "follower" by any means, however believes so long as the war is being won and he is assisting that in any way he will do whatever is needed. Tank for PVE, frost for pvp, not unholy though.

What is your PvE (player-versus-environment) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a raid environment? Do you have any PvE experience from other MMO games?

-Hardcore raider in vanilla and BC, did some in wrath, none in cat, and a little in MoP. Ranged dps/Healed depending on if it was shaman or hunter, starting in MoP is when I started tanking on the DK. I played FFXI, FFXIV, GW2, and a few other games, never really got into raiding with them.

What is your PvP (player-versus-player) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a PvP environment? Do you have any PvP experience in other MMO games?

-Ran with the Warlords team in vanilla, started arenas in BC, continued random PVP since then started doing RBGs on my DK in MoP. Vanilla was mostly shaman pvp, since then hunter, and hunter/DK since MoP

-Yes

How is your computer performance when playing World of Warcraft? What is your FPS/load times during heavy graphical or high population times? Is your internet connection stable?

-I run the game on High graphics at a steady 50FPS, and I have a 100M fiber connection, very stable

What days/times do you typically play this character?

-Most weekdays 5-6PM-9-10PM and weekends it can range from all day to not at all just depending on what I have going on but most of the time I am around on the weekends.

-Yes I have read it and no i don't have any concerns.

Have you read the Mandate? Do you have any questions or concerns about it? Can your character live by it?

-I have and he can live by it.

-I am new to RP, very serious. When i found your guild I moved my DK from another server. I remember being in a tight knit group that would help each other and do things together. Since I have been back I have been playing an MMO solo which is wicked boring. I hope that this app lives up to expectations.
