Grim Application For Domagra

How did you hear about The Grim? Do you know anyone in The Grim?
-I asked around on the RP channel

The forums are The Grim’s primary method of communication. Will you check them regularly (at least a few times a week)?
-Yes!

Tell us about your roleplaying experience. In WoW? Elsewhere? Do you consider yourself a heavy RPer? What does that mean to you?
-I'm kinda new at rping steadily, and it has only been on WoW. Rp doesn't get old like BGs and Raiding can.

The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild. Do you have any experience playing a character of this alignment or a character archetype that believes in structure with evil intent?
-No, I'm usually chaotic good.

Have you been part of any other guilds in World of Warcraft? If so, who were they and what server do or did they reside on? Let us know of your experience with them and what made you decide to either leave or continue to stay.
-None of any note, just some random guilds on Ravenholdt

Are you applying on an alt (non-main) character? If so, what are you looking for here that you are not getting from your main character? If you are feeling honest or adventurous, please let us know who your main is.
-Main on the Horde side

What race and class is this character? Why did you choose this race and class?
-Orc Rogue, no real reason. I like rogues.

What are your expectations for your character after joining The Grim? What aspect of the game do you wish to focus on (raids, rated battlegrounds, arenas, challenge modes, achievements, etc.)?
-Rping mostly. Maybe some BGs and raiding if I gear fast enough

What is your PvE (player-versus-environment) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a raid environment? Do you have any PvE experience from other MMO games?
-I play all classes, but have mastered none. It's hard for me to pick a favorite. I mostly get attached to the character I create.

What is your PvP (player-versus-player) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a PvP environment? Do you have any PvP experience in other MMO games?
-I have a little pvp experience on the Alliance side. I usually enjoy routing and disrupting enemy movement, or just CCing them alongside a group. It doesn't really matter what class, as I really enjoy messing around with all of them. The only other MMO I've pvped in is Star Wars: the Old Republic, and that was very short-lived.

Did you read and understand our guidelines on character names, listed at the beginning of this application? (Please note, if your name does not fall within our guidelines and you do not want to do a name change, you are more than welcome to apply under a different character.)
-Yes, I understand it. In fact, I usually research how certain races' names typically look when I'm not sure of what to name a character. Staying within the lore is very important to me when I name a character.

How is your computer performance when playing World of Warcraft? What is your FPS/load times during heavy graphical or high population times? Is your internet connection stable?
-My computer isn't the best, but I average at about 40-50 fps in heavily populated and spellcasty areas.

Provide an armory link to your character.
-http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/t ... gra/simple

What days/times do you typically play this character?
-I'm all over the place, but I mostly play for long periods of time at night.

Have you read the Required Reading? Do you have any questions or concerns about anything there?
-Yes, and my question is will it be a problem if I want to focus on leveling until I hit 100? Obviously I will still rp, but I won't really initiate a whole lot until I'm satisfied with my character's appearance.

Have you read the Mandate? Do you have any questions or concerns about it? Can your character live by it?
-Yes, and no questions really. Domagra will have no problems with the guild's creed.

Do you have anything further to add?
-Only that I look forward to meeting the guild!

Hi Domagra! Thank you for your application! In answer to your question- No, it will not be a problem if you want to focus on levelling before you get into the nitty gritty. In fact, reaching max level is always one of the first tasks assigned to new Supplicants that are below max level. A little RP happens to get you started, and then you can focus on it.

Don't forget to submit an in character Letter of Intent in the Letter of Intent subforum from the character you intend to use as your main in guild. That is your official IC application to the guild, and the one used to start off RP. We meet every Monday night starting at 7 server, but the location varies each week. There's a stickied thread in the Letter of Intent subforum that lists the meeting places a month at a time.

We look forward to meeting you too, and if you have any questions ask away.
