Grim Application For Zelby

How did you hear about The Grim? Do you know anyone in The Grim?
-I was walking through Warspear in Ashran and came across two members. Ruuki and I think the other was named Sunpaw roleplaying by the auction house. I thought it was interesting to decided to inquire just what they where on about..

The forums are The Grim’s primary method of communication. Will you check them regularly (at least a few times a week)?
-Yeah I can do that.

Tell us about your roleplaying experience. In WoW? Elsewhere? Do you consider yourself a heavy RPer? What does that mean to you?
-I used to be part of a heavy RP horde guild before the launch of pandaria "Mercy killers" So my roleplaying skill is decent I would think. I am not really one for hyper deep dramatic roleplay. I like to keep it dark yet comedic.

The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild. Do you have any experience playing a character of this alignment or a character archetype that believes in structure with evil intent?
-Yes. All though I would not consider my character evil, other individuals would consider the actions they make evil.

Have you been part of any other guilds in World of Warcraft? If so, who were they and what server do or did they reside on? Let us know of your experience with them and what made you decide to either leave or continue to stay.
-My oldest and fondest memories of a guild was 'Mercy Killers'. They where on ravenholdt. They disbanded after the release of pandaria. Well I was with them I had a lot of good times. I tried my best to save the guild after the release but panda-itis just killed it. No one wanted to play MOP. So it died. I jumped from cesspool to cesspool guild after that.

Are you applying on an alt (non-main) character? If so, what are you looking for here that you are not getting from your main character? If you are feeling honest or adventurous, please let us know who your main is.
-This is not an alt.

What race and class is this character? Why did you choose this race and class?
- Goblin rogue female. Goblin female I picked For the SOUL reason at first because she looked and sounded so damn cute. But as I played through the Kazan starter area I realized that the goblin philosophy of 'profit&power' made a lot of sense to a rogue-like mindset. Like the mafia pretty much. Class Rogue. I picked Rogue because I enjoy the mechanics of the class. The stuns moves and escapes from combat are fun and what drew me to it, especially when messing with someone in pvp or needing to escape a bad fight in a instance or raid.

What are your expectations for your character after joining The Grim? What aspect of the game do you wish to focus on (raids, rated battlegrounds, arenas, challenge modes, achievements, etc.)?
-My expectations for joining The Grim are simple. I just want some folks to have decent adventures with. Things really worth talking about and laugh at. As for my intentions in game well being part of The Grim; I wish to focus on everything. I have a touch of ADD so I don't really focus on anything specifically. I just do what I find interesting till bored then find something else to do in game. It is a big game so I always find SOMETHING to do eventually.

What is your PvE (player-versus-environment) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a raid environment? Do you have any PvE experience from other MMO games?
-My experience is mostly in raid finder. I was always pretty casual for PVE. I know the basics of don't stand in the fire and Move out the way of the clearly directed boss attack. In a PVE situation I enjoy playing rogue. The sort of 'Friendly Rivalry' that comes from checking dps charts and the amusement of being able to save my own hide from a wipe are extremely entertaining. I used to play FFXIV till I lost my password, I played Pirates of the burning sea till it shutdown, also I spent a fair bit of time on Age Of Conan before I got bored of it.

What is your PvP (player-versus-player) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a PvP environment? Do you have any PvP experience in other MMO games?
-I have always been a pretty hardcore pvper. But for some reason I was never much of a killer. I was more of a douche. Id just stun lock up folks and let the rest of the team kill them, well I went on to look for more corpses to loot and lone players to jump. I greatly enjoy playing rogue in pvp. Especially since I can stun lock and render an opponent useless Or simply escape from any fight I don't want. Ensuring all combat is done on MY TERMS. Except for WoW no game's PVP system ever real appealed to me. I did sort of like what little I did of pvp on FFXIV.

Did you read and understand our guidelines on character names, listed at the beginning of this application? (Please note, if your name does not fall within our guidelines and you do not want to do a name change, you are more than welcome to apply under a different character.)
-I have no issues with the guidelines.

How is your computer performance when playing World of Warcraft? What is your FPS/load times during heavy graphical or high population times? Is your internet connection stable?
-To be honest I am not too sure how to answer this particular question, as I am not exactly "HIGHLY COMPUTER LITERATE" So I will just explain as best I can. My computer performance is pretty average for Warcraft, nothing too special. I get a bit of Slowdown when heavy population AND graphics loads combine. As for my internet connection its high speed cable but does suffer a touch of slowdown issues and lag during peak usage times.

Provide an armory link to your character.

What days/times do you typically play this character?
-I am usually on from noon to around 2am everyday. I work from home so I have a lot of free time on my hand when not doing housework.

Have you read the Required Reading? Do you have any questions or concerns about anything there?
-No questions or concerns.

Have you read the Mandate? Do you have any questions or concerns about it? Can your character live by it?
-I have read it. Nothing in it is in opposition to the goals of Zelby so the goblin will abide by it.

Do you have anything further to add?
-Nope.

Thanks for your interest, Zelby. Please submit an in-character Letter of Intent in the proper subforum. After you do that, we can move forward.

Edit: you did that at the same time for my post.

Your Letter of Intent will also receive a response.
