How did you hear about The Grim?
-Left my previous guild that had been inactive for a few months now, and looked for an RP guild with the in-game guild finder. Saw The Grim at the top, and checked out your website.

What experience do you have with internet forums? Do you check them frequently or infrequently?
-Most of my experience in web forums comes from Reddit (try not to hold it against me), which I've been frequenting for over 2 years now. I check two or three times a day, on average.

What sort of role-playing experience do you have? Would you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
-I consider myself an intermediate roleplayer. I have a great love for language, which can be expressed through RP, and I also was in theater throughout elementary/high school.

The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild. Do you have any experience playing a character of this alignment or a character archetype that believes in structure with evil intent?
-Yes. Believe it or not, I roleplayed quite extensively in the original Guild Wars and had a very active guild that reflected exactly this alignment.

Have you been part of any other guilds in World of Warcraft? If so, who were they and what server do or did they reside on? Let us know of your experience with them and what made you decide to either leave or continue to stay.
-I first came to WoW with my friends from Guild Wars. I joined their guild, and had a great time messing around with them from vanilla through the beginning of WotLK. A month or so after WotLK launched, however, I made a Horde character so that I could play the game with one of my highschool buddies. I was in the now defunct raiding guild Spectral Lore, and had a fun time raiding with all my pals. After a slight fallout and various other events (which are far too lengthy to be explained now, but I would love to tell anyone who's interested, as it's one of the greatest stories of my life thus far), I transferred to Ravenholdt looking for a more quiet server and RP.

Are you applying on an alt (non-main) character? If so, what are you looking for here that you are not getting from your main character? If you are feeling honest or adventurous, please let us know who your main is.
-No, Nepkal is my main character.

What are your expectations for your character after joining The Grim. What aspect of the game, if any, do you wish to focus on?
-During WotLK, I focused primarily on raiding, with some PvP on the side. However, since then I've focused on PvP, somehow earning the Challenger title a few times (which is a scrub achievement for some of you, I'm sure). However, for WoD, I would like to once again focus on raiding. I'll still PvP, but PvE was a ton of fun in WotLK, and I'd like to try it again.

What is your PvE (player-versus-environment) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a raid environment? Do you have any PvE experience from other MMO games?
-I haven't seriously attempted PvE since Trial of the Crusader in WotLK (other than raid finder and an occasional normal run). I enjoy melee DPS the most in PvE, specifically Frost DK. I have PvE experience from Guild Wars 1 and 2.

What is your PvP (player-versus-player) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a PvP environment? Do you have any PvP experience in other MMO games?
-For the most part, PvP has been a very challenging but fun experience for me. I would describe my PvP play as semi-competitive (usually in the 1850-2k mmr range). As always, I prefer to play DK, but I prefer Unholy in PvP. Lately, I've been a little burnt-out on PvP, but I'm really looking forward to seeing how it is in WoD.

-Yes.

How is your computer performance when playing World of Warcraft? What is your FPS/load times during heavy graphical or high population times? Is your internet connection stable?
-I recently installed a new graphics card, and get a very high, consistent framerate in any setting. My load times are reasonable, and my internet connection is reliable.

-I am very eager to once again be playing with a group of like-minded players, and explore my character through RP more extensively that I ever have before.
