How did you hear about The Grim?

Way back when, when TN was still an infant server with the gates to Ahn'Quiraj still locked, I used tp run Molten Core as Xancha (Troll Rogue) and keep stride with Abric and company. Come Burning Crusade, I created "Elek" (hence renamed to his more Elven "Elanderik") whom I RPed quite heavily even while raiding with Hellscream Marauders. Namely, The Grim have been around as long as I can remember on this server.
What experience do you have with internet forums? Do you check them frequently or infrequently?

I actually administer an internet forum for a small group of friends as a means to track administrative actions and conversation for a project we oversee. I typically check every day or two.
What sort of role-playing experience do you have? Would you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?

I'm no Gygax, but I've been roleplaying for more than half my life. I'm sure there's still a few old vets around The Grim who could share a story or two.
The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild. Do you have any experience playing a character of this alignment or a character archetype that believes in structure with evil intent?

Elanderik IS Lawful Evil. His main view before had been along the lines of securing the safety and survival of Quel'thalas through "any means necessary." He believes in structure, in order, and while his main goals might seem good on the outside, the manner in which he goes to attain them is by no means a sunshine-filled stroll through the tulips. His list of crimes in that goal is not a short one.
Have you been part of any other guilds in World of Warcraft? If so, who were they and what server do or did they reside on? Let us know of your experience with them and what made you decide to either leave or continue to stay.

No other guilds since the Argent Tournament (WotLK) that I've been a "member" of have mattered.
Are you applying on an alt (non-main) character? If so, what are you looking for here that you are not getting from your main character? If you are feeling honest or adventurous, please let us know who your main is.

Elanderik is technically my main, but my hunter (Saelyth) presently is better equipped. I'd like to ultimately bring them both, perhaps even my goblin priest, Trizzia, as well.
What are your expectations for your character after joining The Grim. What aspect of the game, if any, do you wish to focus on?

Raiding and RP, for the most part. PVP should time allow.
What is your PvE (player-versus-environment) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a raid environment? Do you have any PvE experience from other MMO games?

I have extensive PVE experience in World of Warcraft. I enjoy tanking and DPS classes mostly, but find Disc Priest healing to be tolerable. I've played a great many MMOs before, but I think there may be a few people who might be willing to vouch for me not being a bad player.

Zancha was a Legionaire, Elanderik did quite a lot of PVP as well and was heavily active in the arena in BC (ran with Cessily for awhile, too). Did some PVP as my Druid in Cata. I've only recently returned to the game, so it will take some time to gear up and get used to all these new PVP mechanic changes.

How is your computer performance when playing World of Warcraft? What is your FPS/load times during heavy graphical or high population times? Is your internet connection stable?

I usually have a more graphics intensive application running on my second monitor and never have any problems. I don't expect any issues. Network connection hasn't been an issue at my present location.

Not at this time, no. I'm interested in seeing what familiar faces are still around, but I suppose most would crawl out of the woodworks with the next expansion.
