How did you hear about The Grim?
-Yemana yells at me a lot. I usually tune her in and out and sometimes, when I was listening, “Join The Grim” could be heard.

What experience do you have with internet forums? Do you check them frequently or infrequently?
-I’ve been in a few guilds that have used them and use them in various other forms from time to time. If I’m an active member of a group I try to stay pretty active and involved with a forum of said group.

What sort of role-playing experience do you have? Would you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
-I’ve played a lot of table top RP games. I’d consider myself an intermediate role-player at the very least.

The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild. Do you have any experience playing a character of this alignment or a character archetype that believes in structure with evil intent?
-I think the closest I’ve ever actually played an evil character was a chaotic neutral rogue in a D&D game and he didn’t last long cause the rest of the party were all lawful good or lawful neutral. I wasn’t very well liked. I think it could be fun new experience though and am rather excited to give it a try.

Have you been part of any other guilds in World of Warcraft? If so, who were they and what server do or did they reside on? Let us know of your experience with them and what made you decide to either leave or continue to stay.
-I have been a part of a few guilds in WoW but only one other RP guild (The Fabled Order) with a couple other current Grim members. I had a lot of fun with my character there but had to leave because me personal life was getting too busy and I didn’t have enough time to properly commit to the game and the guild.

Are you applying on an alt (non-main) character? If so, what are you looking for here that you are not getting from your main character? If you are feeling honest or adventurous, please let us know who your main is.
-I do have a level 85 Paladin but I’ve quite forgotten a lot of the game since I last played so I’ve decided to start a new character and experience everything from the beginning again so this character will be the primary one I play.

What are your expectations for your character after joining The Grim. What aspect of the game, if any, do you wish to focus on?
-I’m kinda testing the water at the moment. In the past I’ve primarily been a PvE player with a little PvP peppered in for color.

What is your PvE (player-versus-environment) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a raid environment? Do you have any PvE experience from other MMO games?
-Before my departure I had been learning to play a tank role. I don’t have an abundance of end game experience but I know enough to not stand in the fire. Most of the time in raiding instances I was in a DPS role because I usually wasn’t geared/experienced enough to tank a raid instance (though I remember a few comical attempts).

What is your PvP (player-versus-player) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a PvP environment? Do you have any PvP experience in other MMO games?
-Very minimal but am considering trying to learn and expand on that. I couldn’t say I have a preferred role as my previous experience most consists of me running around with my eyes closed swinging a sword screaming “are they dead yet?!”

Did you read and understand our guidelines on character names, listed at the beginning of this application? (Please note, if your name does not fall within our guidelines and you do not want to do a name change, you are more than welcome to apply under a different character.)
-I did indeed read the guidelines. I believe my characters name follows the guide lines and has it’s own RP meaning.

How is your computer performance when playing World of Warcraft? What is your FPS/load times during heavy graphical or high population times? Is your internet connection stable?
-Currently it seems to be running fine. I was a little skeptical with all the new additions to the game if my laptop would be able to handle it but I haven’t had any problems yet. My internet connection is quite stable. The game had lagged out on occasion but usually only when I’m multi-tasking work and solo PvE questing.

Provide an armory link to your character.
-Tuesday maintenance is currently in effect but I’ll be happy to provide a link as soon as it’s up and running again.
