Grim Application For 'Unassuming'

How did you hear about The Grim?
- I found the guild via the in-game guild finder, then investigated further by following up on the website.

What experience do you have with internet forums? Do you check them frequently or infrequently?
- I have been using online forums since I was thirteen. I am twenty-five now, so... too long, and only getting older. XD If a forum is active, which this one appears to be, I make a habit of checking them at least once a day, or at a specified time if requested and possible.

What sort of role-playing experience do you have? Would you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
- I have a great deal of role-playing experience in many varieties. Professionally, I work as a Game Master for a tabletop gaming company called Dark Skull Studios. I have also written story-arcs for an east coast LARP group called Darkon, and participate in LARP on occasion when I have time. Concerning World of Warcraft, I have been role-playing for the past four years.

The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild. Do you have any experience playing a character of this alignment or a character archetype that believes in structure with evil intent?
- Most. Definitely. *evil grin*

Have you been part of any other guilds in World of Warcraft? If so, who were they and what server do or did they reside on? Let us know of your experience with them and what made you decide to either leave or continue to stay.
- I have both led and been involved with many guilds over the past four years. Those involved in role-play all took place on Wyrmrest Accord, the most active, exciting, and long-lived of which were The Earthspear Tribe, Anam Eclipsis, The Stormtotem Tribe, The Cult of the Forgotten, The Sundered Skull Clan, The Ninth Orgrimmar Regiment, The Asvor Dageidr, and the Sons of UnGoro. I progressed through these guilds as stories rose and fell, friends came and went, and real life circumstances dictated my time; but always returning for a good time.

Are you applying on an alt (non-main) character? If so, what are you looking for here that you are not getting from your main character? If you are feeling honest or adventurous, please let us know who your main is.
- I am applying on my main, and only character on Twisting Nether, Unassuming. It is my first character on this server, and I've been trying to get a feel for the RP community.

What are your expectations for your character after joining The Grim. What aspect of the game, if any, do you wish to focus on?
- I expect my character to grow and rise above the past and her inner conflicts by exacting her revenge on a world she feels needs some... weeding. I focus primarily on RP and PvP in the game, and test myself against end-game PvE from time to time when I'm feeling froggy.

What is your PvE (player-versus-environment) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a raid environment? Do you have any PvE experience from other MMO games?
- Thus far, I have leveled 6 characters to 90, and experimented with everything in between. I find I enjoy melee-based classes the most, with a focus on Tanking and DpS. I am also not a bad healer when called upon, but it is not what I excel in.

What is your PvP (player-versus-player) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a PvP environment? Do you have any PvP experience in other MMO games?
-I have a LOT of PvP experience, second only to RP. Again, I enjoy and excel primarily in melee classes, with a focus on heavy hitters like my Warrior.

What is your regular World of Warcraft play schedule? If your answer is "anytime", "flexible", or some other vague word please describe why. Our scheduled interview times are 8pm on Monday and 10am on Wednesdays. Can you make either of those times?
- I currently work from home, so my play time is very flexible. I am able to meet the specified times above. Presently, I am in the process of a move, so my time will be very tight the first week of September. But, afterwards, my schedule should return to normal.

How is your computer performance when playing World of Warcraft? What is your FPS/load times during heavy graphical or high population times? Is your internet connection stable?
- My internet is very fast, and my graphics are on par for everything but the most excessive demands. (Aka, when a 40 man Horde raid is clashing with a 40 man Alli raid in dino land while Oondasta is making us into mud pies.)

Provide an armory link to your character.

Do you have anything further to add?
-Afraid not! :) If you feel there is something here that has not been addressed, or you have any further questions in general, please don't hesitate to ask! Thank you for your time :)

Can you explain the name? It's not a traditional troll name. Is there a story behind it?

Aye. It's a nickname her older brother gave her growing up, due to the humble appearance she always portrayed despite her skills. The name was shortened to 'Una', and remained the inside joke of her friends and family for years until most of them were killed in the rebellion during the Kor'kron subjugation of Echo Isles. She has a traditional Troll name, but would be more fun to reveal in character, if the privilege could be indulged me. :)

(I apologize for the late response. As stated in my application, I am in the middle of a move, and have been AFK in the IRL off and on :) I am still checking the forums and email regularly when I can. Thank you!)
