How did you hear about The Grim?

I have played on TN for several years, raiding and roleplaying with Treasure Seekers, Blades of Lordaeron, and Sanctuary as well as being a PVP officer in Sanctuary. I have encountered members of the Grim in game and Abric IRL. I am better known as Therium my undead Warlock, or Saurax my orc Shaman.

What experience do you have with internet forums? Do you check them frequently or infrequently?

I check forums if there is something that may pertain to me so I don't miss anything, when I was more active during BC and WotLK, I was very active on TNG including writing stories, and reading others.

What sort of role-playing experience do you have? Would you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?

The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild. Do you have any experience playing a character of this alignment or a character archetype that believes in structure with evil intent?

All of my characters are interconnected, and I have written stories that work with several archetypes. Playing every character the same is boring and unimaginative, so I have evil characters as well.

Have you been part of any other guilds in World of Warcraft? If so, who were they and what server do or did they reside on? Let us know of your experience with them and what made you decide to either leave or continue to stay.

I was a big part of Sanctuary, (College friends IRL with Vilmah and Nojinbu) became the PVP officer, roleplayed alot with them and led raids. Obviously they are no more since they don't play anymore, I raided with Treasure Seekers alot until they disbanded. In WotLK I joined Blades of Lordaeron, and raided heavily with them, still roleplayed and wrote stories all the while, but left once because of drama lamas (gg), then came back and raided but left again because of new drama lamas (double gg). I am not a fan of drama players. I played shortly with Infection, but I have quit WoW a few times to keep up with college at the time so I missed most of Cataclysm. I currently play in two other guilds, one in an all pvp guild, having been picked up during an RBG pug, and I am the PVP officer in another guild Death of Kings. Death of Kings I continue to be in because they are new and are experiencing growing pains as they recruit people, and make a name for themselves PVE/RP/PVP wise. The characters in these guilds are non evil, my warrior in Infection is evil, as well as Grotann who is applying for The Grim.

Are you applying on an alt (non-main) character? If so, what are you looking for here that you are not getting from your main character? If you are feeling honest or adventurous, please let us know who your main is.

In vanilla I played one character, which turned into two characters, then turned into three characters in BC. I would honestly say that I am most comfortable playing three "mains". I'm not an altoholic, but I can say I just can't bring myself to only play one character as a "main". I have made stories for all of my characters, but I most enjoy the playstyle of having three different class roles. I always play a dps, a tank, and a healer. In vanilla it was my lock, and then my druid, then in BC it was my lock, my shaman, and warrior. Now it has become my Lock/Shaman/DK (Therium/Saurax/Grotann). Playing this way I have never been burned out by playing one too much, I always have a character to fill any role in PVE/PVP, and I have fleshed out roleplaying stories for each of them. Although my death knight's story is just beginning, he is tied in with my shaman and lock. Before it was my warrior, who was present in my stories on TNG, but I have switched to play the DK as I like the class more.

What are your expectations for your character after joining The Grim. What aspect of the game, if any, do you wish to focus on?

I enjoy raiding roleplaying and PVP.

What is your PvE (player-versus-environment) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a raid environment? Do you have any PvE experience from other MMO games?

I have experienced raiding up through WotLK as dps/healer/tank and have been geared out on all 3 of my mains. I acquired my green fire at iLvL 486 on my lock, I am currently LFR geared on my dps/healer almost LFR geared on my tank and enjoy all 3 roles. Before WoW I played City of Heroes/Villains.

What is your PvP (player-versus-player) experience in World of Warcraft? What classes and roles do you enjoy the most in a PvP environment? Do you have any PvP experience in other MMO games?

I am very experienced in PVP as a warlock as I have played it since vanilla. I am currently perfecting my shaman as a healer in PVP, and learning to as a DK. I am full Mal geared on my lock/shaman with a few pieces of tyrannical on each, and working on gearing my DK with Mal gear. I enjoy the play styles of all 3 of my mains because they are drastically different from each other in some ways but similar in others. Playing multiple classes allows me to see and understand weaknesses and strengths of other classes from different perspectives. Before WoW I PVP'd heavily in City of Heroes/Villains.

What is your regular World of Warcraft play schedule? If your answer is "anytime", "flexible", or some other vague word please describe why. Our scheduled interview times are 8pm on Monday and 10am on Wednesdays. Can you make either of those times?

I am on regularly from 5pm-11pm. I can do Monday.

How is your computer performance when playing World of Warcraft? What is your FPS/load times during heavy graphical or high population times? Is your internet connection stable?

I have a high end computer, and very stable internet connection.
