(IC) What name or title do you go by?
Just call me Psyrite.
(IC) What is your gender and race?
I'm a girl, I'ma goblin. Does it matter?
(IC) What is your class in life? Why did you choose to follow this class?
Most would call me a mage, but I prefer to think myself as one with the flame. When I was younger, the village I lived in, a small orc village, was attacked in an Alliance raid one night. The wood and cloth was quickly set aflame, and I remember watching the fire, hearing the screams...and being mesmerized by the beauty. Out of nowhere, this scumbag starts charging at me with his sword. I look around, looking for any way to protect myself. I found a burning piece of wood, and I chucked it at the soldier. His cries were just...beautiful. The way the flames spread across his clothes, the way it completely overtook him, the way it made him fall to the ground and hurdle in pain was more romantic than any trashy romance story you'd hear from a drunken fool at an inn. Since that night, I promised that I would immerse myself in the glory of flames. I may not be strong or fast, but I'm slowly learning the ropes of controlling fire.
(IC) How many "Honorable" Kills do the Battlemasters currently have recorded for you?
Apparently 118, although the amount of people I've killed off the books...well, that's a much higher number.
(IC) What drives you in life? How would the Grim benefit from having you among its ranks?
(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?
I'd lure some scumbags behind the inn with the promise of a good time then set their clothes on fire. Or I'd wander the roads, taking odd jobs to scrape by.
(IC) What are your thoughts of the new direction the Horde has taken since the Cataclysm?
Garrosh is a fool. I always thought Thrall was too soft on the Alliance, but I'd rather have him than our current warchief. He's going to get us all killed if he continues to have his way. Also, we need tighter grips on the Forsaken. They're just as bad as the Scourge in my eyes.
(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members. What does that mean to you?
It means being with people who enjoy the game from both a gameplay and narrative standpoint.
(OOC) The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by a structure with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies. Does this definition conflict with how you want to play your character? If it does, how do you expect to handle the conflict with other members?
I definitely don't plan to have Psyrite be a static character. Hopefully, we'll see some vivid character development as things occur. She'd probably be considered chaotic neutral, but I doubt there will be much clashing.
(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line? Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
I ran a decently sized RP operation a few years back on some forums, as well as participated in a few others. I play D&D with a few friends of mine whenever we get the chance. I'm also a writer, although I haven't been able to get into it lately.
(OOC) Is this character a server-transfer or has it been renamed recently? If so, what was your previous server and/or in-game name?
No.
(OOC) What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
I'm hoping to make some new friends and enjoy all that roleplaying has to offer.
(OOC) When joining the Grim, each new applicant will be matched up with someone to help them get into the swing of being Grim. In order to coordinate this, we will need to have a fair approximation of your play schedule. Please give a general outline below, OR if you wish to keep it private, send a PM to Ashenfury.
I have work, so it really varies, unfortunately. I'll be on whenever I'm on.
(OOC) Please provide an armory link to your character for verification.

(IC/OOC) Do you have anything further to add?
Peace through Annihilation.

Seek us out at Wednesday 6pm for a group interview or seek an inquisitor for a private one.
Re: Psyrite
Unfortunately, I have work at that time. Do you have any other times that might work?
