Siaraen Sin'diel

(IC) What name or title do you go by?
Siaraen Sin'Diel

(IC) What is your gender and race?
I am a female Sin'Dorei

(IC) What is your class in life? Why did you choose to follow this class?
Since returning from Outland I have abandoned my studies as a mage to become a student of the Light. I do not consider myself a priestess, rather a healer-mage. I do not believe you need to worship your source of power, merely understand it.
I was not born into power. The Light is not so invested in the status quo as is the clergy of the arcane; nor as discriminating of standing.

(IC) How many "Honorable" Kills do the Battlemasters currently have recorded for you?
I've been living in Outland until recently and have not yet had a chance to test myself.

(IC) What drives you in life? How would the Grim benefit from having you among its ranks?
I am driven by my desire to carve a place for myself in the new Horde. The Alliance looms over any plans I, or other members of the Horde, could make. They must be eradicated.

(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?
For many years I have lived in Outland, trying to help my people rebuild. I do not believe Outland is the sanctuary we hoped it would be. Upon returning to Silvermoon, I was shocked to discover the foolish cynicism of many there who do not realise that the strength of the Horde is what will secure our future.

(IC) What are your thoughts of the new direction the Horde has taken since the Cataclysm?
I have no experience with the Horde before this change in direction, but I am pleased to see the Horde strengthening our claims on Azeroth.

(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members. What does that mean to you?
It means that while I'm only available on the weekends and early afternoons (living in Europe), that when I am online I am fully in-character and ready to RP with anyone.

(OOC) The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by a structure with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies. Does this definition conflict with how you want to play your character? If it does, how do you expect to handle the conflict with other members?
My character will fit in with this perfectly, she's a power-hungry, scheming, manipulator, but everything she does is within the system.

(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line? Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
I have very limited online RP experience, and have dabbled in pen and paper RP with friends for several years.

(OOC) Is this character a server-transfer or has it been renamed recently? If so, what was your previous server and/or in-game name?
No.

(OOC) What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
I'm looking for immersive RP, and possibly PvE at some point in future.

(OOC) When joining the Grim, each new applicant will be matched up with someone to help them get into the swing of being Grim. In order to coordinate this, we will need to have a fair approximation of your play schedule. Please give a general outline below, OR if you wish to keep it private, send a PM to Ashenfury.
All weekend, and weekdays during the early afternoon Realm time. I live in Europe so it can be hard for me to get online at nighttime during the week as it's usually around 4am for me - although I can make exceptions.

(OOC) Please provide an armory link to your character for verification.

(While she's not level 10 yet, it should only be a matter of hours before this link works, if not, please PM me and I'll figure out what I've done wrong)

(IC/OOC) Do you have anything further to add?
While I was visiting the Darkmoon Faire, I met one of your number, Therean, who explained your mandate of Peace through Annihilation. It's perhaps the first sensible thing I've heard since my return from Outland and I knew I had to contact you.

Elf, The Grim is a Horde guild, not a Silvermoon tea party. Craft your supplication in words we can all understand.

I met this elf two days prior at the Darkmoon Faire. Though she is very elven, if you catch my drift, her heart is most definitely receptive to the mandate. Her Orcish may be weak, a mere three weeks in the making, but her dedication to the Horde I do not question.

It is my impression that she is not one of 'those' elves, and meant no insult by filing her application in Thalassian; rather aiming instead for clarity. Consider that she did submit her introductory letter in Orcish, and further, learns the tongue of trolls.

Everything seems in order, including a mastery of our common tongue surpassing some native speakers of my acquaintance. Seek an inquisitor.
