(IC) What name or title do you go by?

I go by Albasta, just Albasta. As far as I’ve seen all the best people are known by one name....Medivh, Khadgar, Sylvanas, Cairne..... I mean, sure they may have last names, but do you really need them?

(IC) What is your gender and race?

I am one of the finest examples of the female gender you will likely have the pleasure of meeting. Born in Gilneas, but raised in Lordaeron by my tutors until the time of my unfortunate affliction *sniffs and discreetly tosses a stray maggot aside*.

(IC) What is your class in life?  Why did you choose to follow this class?

I am a trained priest. Initially I was sent to Lordaeron to learn the healing arts, but  a few *coughs* hundred *coughs* deceased bunnies later my tutors decided I was more adept at the darker side and my training continued on that path.

(IC) How would you describe yourself?

How to describe myself! There is just so much to say I hardly know where to begin...well... I am a connoisseur of all the finer things in life, wine, food, beautiful clothes, beautiful people. I am an entrepreneur running my own fine jewellery business, only the best jewels available in Azeroth for a....modest fee.

(IC) How many "Honorable" Kills do the Battlemasters currently have recorded for you?

I have approximately 9, 700 heads in my collection. I’m sure I could have one of my men count them if you require a more precise number.

(IC) What drives you in life?  How would the Grim benefit from having you among its ranks?

What drives me? The acquisition of wealth and material goods, the beautification of Azeroth through the destruction of all things ugly, like Dwarves, and bloody vengeances against those that left me to this..this...affliction. Before I would have also included searching for a cure, but it has done marvels for my waist-line.

(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?

Prior to the Grim I have been busy building up my business. Quite a lot of travel is required to get one’s name out and not everyone is capable of recognizing quality goods when they see it. Now that my jewellery is doing well I feel it is time to focus more on other interests that can only be achieved with a little assistance.

(IC) What are your thoughts on the pact between the Alliance and the Warchief Thrall?

Thrall obviously meant well, but he was misguided. Azeroth is a cruel place and the fighting won’t be stopped by diplomacy.

(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members.  What does that mean to you?

Full immersion RP means to me that one is in character at all times within the guild and outside in public channels. Ie. /say, /yell, guild chat is always in character and party chat, raid chat, and /whisper depending on who you are talking to.

(OOC)  The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by structure and a defined chain of command with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies.  How does your character's personality and storyline follow the Grim Mandate?  Is there any conflict between how you want to play your character and the theme of the Grim?  If so, what do you expect out of joining us?

I don’t see any conflicts between the nature of my character and the theme of the Grim. At her most basic level Albasta requires the validation that one can only gain in a stable, structured group. She despises humans partly due to intense jealously over the life she used to have and also because it was due to her human parents that she is now Forsaken. Annihilation therefore works well for her. Dwarves can die as well....such ugly stumpy little things.

(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line?  Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?

My Role-playing experience in entirely within the realm of the World of Warcraft. I have been in a heavy RP guild on Emerald Dream for three years and before that role-played on and off for two years on Twisting Nether and Emerald Dream. I would consider myself reasonably experienced.

(OOC) Do you have any previous WoW experience?  (PvP, Raiding, Battlegrounds, Different Servers, Different Guilds, Different Factions, etc.)

I have spent the last three years in the Alliance guild The Kingship of the East on ED where I was heavily involved in raiding and world pvp that the guild often participated in. Before my time in the Kingship I was Horde on TN in the guilds Hellscream Marauders and Ordo Letalis. I doubt anyone would remember me from my horde days, but I was an undead mage, Venefica, and a blood elf priest, Albasta, back in those days.

(OOC) Is this character a server-transfer or has it been renamed recently?

This character is a transfer from ED. I deleted my old priest on Twisting Nether in order to keep the name.

(OOC)  What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?

I’ve refined my expectations of guild over the years through trial and error. I am looking for a stable guild with solid leadership and an inclusive community. I don’t need a guild to be the best of the best, but I do want them to actually put effort in the arenas in which they participate. Lastly, no leet kiddies!

(OOC)  When joining the Grim, each new applicant will be matched up with someone to help them get into the swing of being Grim.  In order to coordinate this, we will need to have a fair approximation of your play schedule.  Please give a general outline below, OR if you wish to keep it private, send a PM to Aquizit.

My play time is pretty open. I probably spend more time in Warcraft than I should. Afternoons/evenings it doesn’t really matter!
