Servitor

Unread post by Abric »

(IC) What name or title do you go by?
      - Servitor

(IC) What is your gender and race?
      - Male Orc

(IC) What is your class in life?  Why did you choose to follow this class?
      - Mes use axes and shields now!  Servitor do dat now when left behind in Northrend!  Mes no appreciate dat!  Mes rather be handling big sacks again.

(IC) How would you describe yourself?
      - Servitor smart orc, all friends say so.  Me used to be banker for Grim, but left behind in Northrend when Horde first go there.  Left behind!  Mes no understand, and mes mad!  Yous all take big sacks away from Servitor when left behind.  Mes describe wanting sacks back, or you gets da fist to the face!  Dat describing!

(IC) How many "Honorable" Kills do the Battlemasters currently have recorded for you?
      - Battlemasters say just under three thousand.  Say if I go to Alterac Valley and run at the skinnies, I get more.

(IC) What drives you in life?  How would the Grim benefit from having you among its ranks?
      - Grim benefit from smarts!  Mes keep all your stuff nice and organized for years!  Years, and yous leave me behind!  Servitor not dat drunk, and was time off!

(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?
      - Mes work on building Orgrimmar before being made Grim banker.  Servitor the Peon, theys call me.  Super smart Servitor, dat true!

(IC) What are your thoughts on the pact between the Alliance and the Warchief Thrall?
      - Warchief say squash, so Servitor squash.  Yous no trust short people, they got sticky fingers.

(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members.  What does that mean to you?
      - Full immersion is getting into the skin of your character and interacting with everyone on World of Warcraft as you would perceive (and guide) your character would.  Like an actor in a play or movie, you *are* the character ... I'm a dude, playing a dude, disguised as another dude!

(OOC)  The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by structure and a defined chain of command with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies.  How does your character's personality and storyline follow the Grim Mandate?  Is there any conflict between how you want to play your character and the theme of the Grim?  If so, what do you expect out of joining us?
      -  Servitor was originally created as the Grim banker, before we had guild banks.  He was just a stereotypical peon who "had it easy", drinking and womanizing troll women in Orgrimmar.  Seeing as the Grim gave him the good life, he has admiration for the people who gave him such good times.  Since my departure from Tampa and subsequent deployment, the storyline of Servitor is changing where he was left behind in Northrend, and he had to learn the hard way to be more than a peon.  Now, as a trained warrior, he wants to go back to what he knew; even though he was left behind.  While still a "peon mindset", I'd like to make him grow and slowly involve into an Orc Grunt; someone who is proud of his ancestory and will, hopefully, bring a little more of the "Old Horde" feel.  Since Skash left because of life and Blood is as inconsistent as a Frenchman in war - somebody has to take up the reins!

(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line?  Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
      - Approximately 15 years of roleplaying experience.  Originally table-top Dungeons and Dragons, a small deviation into White Wolf, then chat room RP in Prodigy Classic and AOL.  Been roleplaying in World of Warcraft since 2005.

(OOC) Do you have any previous WoW experience?  (PvP, Raiding, Battlegrounds, Different Servers, Different Guilds, Different Factions, etc.)
      -  Level 60 mage (gnome) and warrior (dwarf) in Classic WoW on Cenarion Circle; pure roleplay characters.  Abric... no need to say anything there.  Have Belan who was raiding Burning Crusade content (now 71).  Then Kibarb, my dwarf priest who I play off-handedly with a red head, a beautiful Canadian woman, a homosexual man (not Aquizit), and a woman who loves him regardless of his love for penis.

(OOC) Is this character a server-transfer or has it been renamed recently?
      - Renamed.  Servitor was Bevial, who has been put on the back burner for more a more Horde-centric character.

(OOC)  What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
      - My expectations are as they always have been; make a good playing environment for my fellow RPers, giving them what they expected when they rolled on an RP-PvP server.  Also for people to love me.  LOVE MEEEEEE!!!!

(OOC)  When joining the Grim, each new applicant will be matched up with someone to help them get into the swing of being Grim.  In order to coordinate this, we will need to have a fair approximation of your play schedule.  Please give a general outline below, OR if you wish to keep it private, send a PM to Lascivious.
      - I will have no set schedule on play time until after the holiday's.  After that, I will be on mostly during the weekdays, both for scheduled events and to piddle around.  if I am in front of the computer during off-peak hours, I am always in Mumble even if I am in WoW.

(OOC) Please provide an armory link to your character for verification.
      - Servitor

(IC/OOC) Do you have anything further to add?
      -  Pincus needs to upgrade the Mumble server.  If not, he gets Peace Through Annihilation up his married ass.

Find me at your convenience, and I'll judge your worth.

((Not going to do a standard interview because I know your schedule's unpredictable.))
