(IC) What is your gender and race? 
    - Male Sin’Dorei

(IC) What is your class in life?  Why did you choose to follow this class?
    - Rogue by trade. Many of my kind follow the ways of the arcane. I prefer a more… hands on approach when dealing with death.

(IC) How would you describe yourself?
    - I am a rogue and a thief of the most honorable variety. I am a loyal and powerful ally that will not betray a friendship. If you are an enemy, I will present class and charm to your face while maneuvering my blade for your back, but not before relieving you of your valuables.

(IC) How many "Honorable" Kills do the Battlemasters currently have recorded for you?
    - Honorable is a very vague term when measuring kills. The Battlemasters credit me for 6670, my own estimation is quite different.

(IC) What drives you in life?  How would the Grim benefit from having you among its ranks? 
    - My ambitions are my own. If the Grim is in need of dependable blades and death dealers my benefit to the guild will display itself.

(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?
      - *smiles* My past is not what’s important here. I look forward to a fresh start and many long friendships with the Grim.

(IC) What are your thoughts on the pact between the Alliance and the Warchief Thrall?
    - Thrall can proclaim anything he wishes, it has little consequence on my actions. If my coffers run low or my blades run dry I may have to rethink the situation.

(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members.  What does that mean to you?
    - That above all else IC is to be respected and maintained. In my experience it usually also helps to limit the amount of immature nonsense that is all too common in WoW.

(OOC)  The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by structure and a defined chain of command with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies.  How does your character's personality and storyline follow the Grim Mandate?  Is there any conflict between how you want to play your character and the theme of the Grim?  If so, what do you expect out of joining us?
    - Barien is a lawful evil character. He kills with no emotion or regret, but will not cross a friend or betray an ally. There should be little to no conflict with the theme of the Grim.

(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line?  Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
    - Have been involved in RP games most of my life and it’s always been my favorite genre. I’m by no means an RP expert, but I understand the basics enough to not infringe on anyone else.

(OOC) Do you have any previous WoW experience?  (PvP, Raiding, Battlegrounds, Different Servers, Different Guilds, Different Factions, etc.)
    - The majority of my WoW experience has been in PvP. I’m familiar with how raiding guilds function, having raided in other games. I only started progressing into PvE a short time ago in WoW, so I’m still learning on the fly…although I am a pretty quick study.

(OOC) Is this character a server-transfer or has it been renamed recently?
    - No

(OOC)  What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
    - I’m looking for a well organized group of mature players with like minded goals that works well together, with hopefully little drama. I’m very laid back and easy to get along with and am just looking to have a good time and enjoy the game.

(OOC)  When joining the Grim, each new applicant will be matched up with someone to help them get into the swing of being Grim.  In order to coordinate this, we will need to have a fair approximation of your play schedule.  Please give a general outline below, OR if you wish to keep it private, send a PM to Lascivious.
    - Usually my playtime will be in the evenings, from around 7-8pm server time until midnight on weekdays and varying but similar hours on weekends.
