Maurdakar

) What name or title do you go by?
      - Mardakar

(IC) What is your gender and race?
      - Male, Troll

(IC) What is your class in life?  Why did you choose to follow this class?
      - I am a wandering mystic, adept at healing the broken hearts, and broken heads. During my vast pilgirmage I have learned many things, picked up many exotic skills, formost of which is my unbroken speech. I had a Sin'Dorei teacher, every time I slipped into orcish slang it was another blasted electric shock. How I came about as a healer, is a tale I tell very few of my trusted allies.

(IC) How would you describe yourself?
      - Most of my brethren are taken aback by my cultured speech, or affinity for mechanics. I am an oddball, skilled at making myself useful, wherever there is a niche I fill it, an oppourtunity I sieze it.

(IC) What drives you in life?  How would the Grim benefit from having you among its ranks?
      - I seek to recover my skills as a healer, skills everyone appreciates, moreso when thier bleeding out in a trench somewhere. I hope to find solid allies to aid and be aided by in my merciless revenge against the so-called Alliance.

(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?
      - My past I keep mostly to myself, I will share it when I feel I am well enough liked and well trusted.

(IC) What are your thoughts on the pact between the Alliance and the Warchief Thrall?
      - Wrynn and Thrall do not speak for thier entire species. There are many scores left to settle.

(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members.  What does that mean to you?
      - It means a community of expierenced role players, where god RPing is forbidden, and characters can be lovers/rivals/brothers while In character, but remain mature and friendly OOC. It means a story weaving together heros and traitors, it means drama (hopefully IC Drama) and comedy. I cannot imagine playing WoW while not Roleplaying. Markakar is actually a character existing in many Roleplays in Twisting Nether PRIOR to application in the Grim. This is partly why I am not providing the backstory upfront. I know some people may also have a problem with a well spoken Troll IC, but I am trying my best to present it with the backstory making it as believable as possible.

(OOC)  The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by structure and a defined chain of command with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies.  How does your character's personality and storyline follow the Grim Mandate?  Is there any conflict between how you want to play your character and the theme of the Grim?  If so, what do you expect out of you joining?
      - I see no conflicts occuring. Dakar is a geniuinly nice guy, but now he has the means and the motive to take venganc eon the alliance. As a healer he will no doubt see his job (keeping his friends alive) as a minor moral conflict. Dakar is arguably evil, but he is niether a maniac or bloodthirster. Besides all of this Dakar has lots of room to grow, and develop into his role in the guild.

(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line?  Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
      - I like to think I am an expierenced role player, I know all the unspoken courtesy of the art, and all the unpleasent bombs (god Rping being my biggest pet peeve), I like to bounce ideas and conversations between my own character and another to see what sticks.

(OOC) Do you have any previous WoW experience?  (PvP, Raiding, Battlegrounds, Different Servers, Different Guilds, Different Factions, etc.)
      - I have a level 80 PvP shaman on another server, and I am usually in full honour gear. I have very little intrest in raiding, and if I cannot come to a raid or do not wish to I simply will not sign, I am willing to fill slots for missing raiders however, and always show EARLY whenever I sign up.

(OOC)  What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
      - I heard there was some good Roleplayers ion this guild, as well as some good fighters, hopefully I can learn and teach a few things.

(OOC)  When joining the Grim, each new applicant will be matched up with someone to help them get into the swing of being Grim.  In order to coordinate this, we will need to have a fair approximation of your play schedule.  Please give a general outline below, OR send a PM to all (not just one) of the following members: Acherontia, Nymare, Tecunuman
      - I usually play weekday evenings, server 6-10 and typically log around 12 hours of playing a week. (addicted I know) So Im usually around, once summer starts my schedule could get a little wonky but I am always willing to work with whatever is suggested.

(IC/OOC) Do you have anything further to add?
      - I was concerned with one of the mandates' statements for players to be "Pissed off" I like killing alliance, but its just a game, I hope we can burn our enemies in hellfire, and feast upon thier corpses, but still be civil about it, and to each other.
Let our blades sing together, -Peace through Annihilation.
