(IC) What name or title do you go by?
-Rhatizin Icecloud, The Icecrown General.
(IC) What is your gender and race?
-Male Sin'dorei.
(IC) What is your class in life? Why did you choose to follow this class?
-Grew up among the blood knights of Silvermoon and chose to become one.
(IC) How would you describe yourself?
-A strong leader, ruthless to the enemy. I only have a desire for war.
(IC) What drives you in life? Why do you want to be Grim?
-War drives me, war against the Alliance that is. I seek to be Grim because I see possibilities that can benefit me.
(IC) What did you do prior to The Grim?
-Lead a group of mercenaries.
(IC) What are your thoughts on the pact between the Alliance and the Warchief Thrall?
-I don’t follow Thrall and pay little attention to his pacts.
(OOC) The Grim is a role-playing guild that requires full immersion (heavy RP) of their members. What does that mean to you?
-More the better.
(OOC) The Grim are considered a Lawful Evil guild, ruled by structure and a defined chain of command with the intent to see the complete annihilation of their enemies. How does your character's personality and storyline follow the Grim Mandate? Is there any conflict between how you want to play your character and the theme of the Grim? If so, what do you expect out of you joining?
-My characters main interest is PVP and the annihilation of the Alliance. I spend most of my days killing alliance, taking over alliance towns and just about anything I can do to disturb the alliance players. I don’t see any conflict.
(OOC) What sort of role-playing experience do you have, online or off-line? Do you consider yourself a beginner or Gary Gygax?
-Plenty of RP experience. Also play a Corruptor in Infection and have for a very long time.
(OOC) Do you have any previous WoW experience? (PvP, Raiding, Battlegrounds, Different Servers, Different Guilds, Different Factions, etc.)
-Most of my experience is with the character I have in Infection, created this paladin after wotlk release. I have some raiding experience but I am mostly interested in PVP. Former 2 time champion of Cristok’s Challenge as mage.
(OOC) What are you, the player, looking for in the Grim? What are your expectations of the guild?
-My plans involve working with Cristok on the PVP scenario of the realm. Me and him share the same ideas of what we want to see and being in the same guild while doing this would improve the outcome I believe.
(IC/OOC) Do you have anything further to add?
-No. ((No.))

Rhatizin has been a loyal ally thus far, and I expect him to make a fine addition to our ranks should the High Inquisitor grant him a chance.

This doesn't interest me. How can you benefit us?Rhatizin wrote:I seek to be Grim because I see possibilities that can benefit me.
You say you've led a group of mercenaries thus far. Understand that the Grim are not a mercenary organization. We fight not for coin or any other material wealth, but out of a personal desire for annihilation that lives in each of us. War drives you? Tell us why. There are reasons behind action. Do not tell us that action drives you - tell us the reasons.
Why have you decided to abandon your group of mercenaries in favor of serving the Mandate?

Re: Rhatizin
If you are looking for a strong soldier to fight the Alliance, I can benefit The Grim. If you are looking for loyalty, I can benefit The Grim. If you are looking for leadership qualities on the battlefield, I can benefit The Grim. If you are looking for an absolute dedication of service, I can benefit The Grim. If The Grim is indeed looking for the above listed, then The Grim benefits me just as well.Acherontia wrote:This doesn't interest me. My mercenaries have worked closely with The Grim and I am well aware that you are not mercenaries or a mercenary organization. War drives me because of my hate for the Alliance, its a blood lust and desire to take lives that drives me I suppose. I enjoy little else than war.
I would never abandon my mercenaries for the record. The unit will follow my command no matter what flag I am under. It is a small band of merc's, not an army, and they are fine with any and all decisions I make for them or myself.

Re: Rhatizin
If there comes a time when you must choose between your mercenaries and the Mandate, then abandon them you shall. Or you will be of as much use to us as any who has never pledged their loyalty to the Grim at all. There is no wavering on that point. Your mercenaries may follow your personal command, but they do not serve the Mandate, and therefore fall between the words that have been said to us and by us many times before:
"You are Grim, or you are nothing."
It will be up to you to choose which you will be. We accept no half-servants. No half-loyalties.
We will discuss these matters with you further. Expect my correspondence.
