Annoying bug with RealID whispers

Does anybody else get this? It happened a few times before, including last night when Kharzak was trying to get a gem. I only noticed the whisper when I was about to shut down the bnet launcher. Sorry Kharzak! If you still need the multistike gem, I can cut one tonight.

it's happened to me a couple of times. I know Alakhai had sent me a message about something and then I mentioned the same thing in ooc chat and she was like, I just messaged you that! I didn't realize until I had quit the game that it had gone to the out of game chat feature.

Yeah, I've had a few messages from Tuski pop out of game, rather than in it.

If the person isn't responding then maybe try sending a regular whisper instead? Maybe there are also some notification settings in the launcher itself.

I always close down the blizzard launcher when I go into a game (which is why I pop on and off and back on again in quick succession). Likely this prevents the external chat from lording it over the in game one. I've had a few times where I've whispered Anaie and he didn't see until I told him in character whisper.

I only see that happen to me if someone whispers me right when I'm switching characters or some such.
