Grim Views

Anybody got any background on this?  I fail at finding information on it, though I will admit I'm not truly digging through the internet (though I probably will after this post, thus making myself look like a total assjack.)

I got Recount2, since it's update was more current on files.wowace.com.  It's... eh, it's not as user-friendly or as informative as Recount.  I'm chalking it up to it being 'new' and 3.0 just causing all sorts of fun and excitement for mod makers - but I just want to make sure it's not user-error.

What could be user-error?  Well, the options are extremely limited compared to Recount - i.e. there is a filter option and there is a config option, which just tells me if I want to see Party, Raid, Other, and something else.  None of it is "you" and "you" doesn't show up.  Did a heroic Hillsbrad and Dark Portal, and I never showed up on my meter.

I did manage to get it to show myself, but I couldn't figure out how to get it to show DPS instead of just damage done, nor how to stop displaying everything around me without actually not parsing it.  Was driving me nuts.  I just gave up and went back to Recount, which seemed to be functional.  Might wait until Recount2 is configured to be a little more intuitive, and stick with the old thing as long as it keeps working for me.

Recount 2.4.3g is what im using right now but Recount is supposed to have a new 3.0 stable version out. Just couldn't download it yesterday from curse heh.

I have the updated Recount and it works fine.

Abric, I saw you on my Recount.  I got whatever they had listed on WowInterface.

Recount2 is terrible in my opinion.  Recount 3.0 looks to be the old recount, but wrath stable - I haven't had a chance to log in with it yet, though.

i have old recount, it seems to be working fine except it shows everyone else doing more DPS than me.

Only cuz yer a tank, eh?
