Yeah ... This looks amazing. It made me want to play a space mmo so bad that I just downloaded the Eve Online trial.

Watch out for EvE. If you want bloodthirsty PvP, to the point of "you undock, you can get ganked", that's EvE. Worse, the community is kinda hit and miss, and mostly douchebag miss. Also, learn Russian.

The PvE is dull as hell unless you work up a bunch of skills and have buddies working with you to do anomalies and wormholes.

And yes, when I heard Chris Roberts was getting away from movies and getting back to a WC reboot of sorts, I was on it. the "MMO" bit of it just adds to the fun.

I know Ashenfury has started a guild-interest group. Dunno if he still lurks around here, but he should chime in as to what his plans are.
