Uhhhhh wow these 2 things surprised me:
SteamNo Class Yet
→ No refund policy
→ Jurisdiction: Washington (for non-EU) and Luxembourg.
× No Right to leave the service
- Defend and indemnify Valve. Survives termination of the agreement.
- Trial and class action waiver
- May share aggregate and individual user information with other parties without restriction
+ Notifications 30 days before changes.
+ Using your real name is optional
+ A user can voluntarily cancel their account at any time.
+ Can request review and/or removal of personally identifiable info.
- No transparency on law enforcement requests
- Valve can cancel your account at any time.
