Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

I just beat this last night and I have to say that after not playing Uncharted 1 or 2 that jumping into 3 was a delight.
The Combat was mostly solid (2-3 clips on the big guys seemed silly) and the hand to hand was spectacular. Nothing like slamming someone's head with a pizza oven and then breaking a bottle of beer over their head before throwing them over a counter. Smooth and enjoyable I say!
The music was a bit repetitive but was definitely high quality. There were a few cinematic moments where it all came together perfectly. The voiceovers were pretty good but a lot of the sound effects were meh. Guns sounded like toys to me.
The graphics were top notch and showed me what the PS3 is capable of. Flip the 3D switch and get prepared to go 'Wow' during every escape scene or long range combat. Escaping from a burning building with 3D effects is still the best use of 3D I've ever seen in my life.
The controls and camera were par the course for an adventure game. Usually very smooth and functional but every once in a while they were both frustrating. I never tried the move.
Overall I would give this 4.5 out of 5 for action-adventure games. I was pleasantly surprised.
