Except for that one Twin Peaks my damage was about the same as normal, but don't worry they'll nerf me again soon enough ;)

a quote from mmo where a user asked what was happening as they were out of the loop:

Basically the standard AOE rotation resulted in an explosion of DPS that made no sense.

In all likelihood, something was proccing from a proc, from a proc, from a proc and so forth - probably resulting in a full on infinite loop. Numbers aren't any higher, because (as evidenced by the lag) the "squirt of DPS" actually has a cutoff point where the server (and your computer) doesn't understand it anymore, and automatically stops it.

But since it's part of a standard rotation, and is largely fixed on most servers (if not all at this point) - I don't see every pally player above lvl 39 getting banned for this.

and an anecdote from a ret that went into icc to see how he could do:

Basically, Seal of Righteousness and Truth procced literally hundreds of times per second to the point of creating hundreds of thousands of DPS. For example, we went into ICC for shits and giggles to see how bad it was. I Divine Stormed Blood Council with Seal of Righteousness up and did 2.5 million DPS, and Seal of Righteousness hit over 47 thousand times in about 15 seconds.

It...it was crazy.
