Tirracidiolajinn returns!

Unread post by Tirralys »

Yes, I did read the Lloyd here I come! thread :P

For those who have not read TNG's posts, I'm making a comeback.  Having Abric and Thal over reminded me of all the good times in the grim, well, that and a bit of blackmailing, made me want to return.

I know a lot has changed since I've been gone, people leaving, people joining, etc. I'm hoping to get to know you all, though it may take a while.  As I am now married (refer http://wow-tng.org/showthread.php?t=12608) I might not be on as much as I -used- to be.  But then again, -used- to be was like 16 hours out of the day.  I'm also waiting for my immigration counselor to contact me with possible employment, as many employers do not wish to go through the paperwork in order to help get me a work permit, which would lead to eventual permanent residency.  So, I will probably lose more time once I get my work permit and a job (though, it sounds like I'll be working in a recycling center, which should be closed on the weekends to give me free time there).  However, I'll still be around more often then not.  Especially after WotLK comes out.

Oh, yes, did I forget to mention?  I'm going to make a new character, a Death Knight.  Yes, it sounds like I'm jumping on the bandwagon.  Those who knew me know I used to swear up and down that they were going to give us Death Knights in TBC.  I'm also still waiting for Ogres to become a PC race.  *looks at and taps watch* Two headed ogre magi ftw!

That being said, I'm leaning toward a personality for him that -should- be as fun and amusing as Ela'Jinn is/was.  So, even though I'll be a 'big bad' death knight, I'll still offer amusement for all.  Or try to.  I'm hit and miss a lot :P

I will be final-speccing Tirralys into Holy, and be using him primarily.  I may, on my free time, level Ela'jinn to 70, as I still prefer priests as my main healer class.  Licidion...not so much.  I kind of screwed him up during the course of role play, so my new DK will have to kind of fill the void that Licidion left behind.  That, and Licidion never did as much damage as Abric T_T I'm a rogue noob apparently :P Though, Licidion did manage to kill three alliance in that one guild I forget the name of but we hated...meh.

Of course, I will need to get back into the groove of RP, I haven't seriously RP'd in at least 6-7 months.  RP will be my main focus - before Raiding, before grouping or anything else.  I will, of course, help others out, and I do need a boost in my own healing gear (I'm still in Kara gear you know) but RP will be my main focus.

So, once I get some time on a card and apply it, I'll let you all know, and re-apply to the Grim.  I will be moving Tirralys into the alt guild when WotLK comes out, but for now he will be my main, and I do not see my main changing from DK.  DK's make my heart Super Happy!  (Ni Hao, Kai Lan!)

Yay! Love :)

For now, this seems to be the plan:

Since Ela'Jinn is only 62, I've brought Ela'Jinn back into the Grim.  Tirralys will stay in BMR.

After WotLK comes out and I create my DK, Lord Urr'Kel (yes, you're reading that right) Ela'Jinn will move into BMR and Lord Urr'Kel will become my primary.

I will be mainly playing Ela'Jinn until that time, though I will bring Tirralys out to tank for anyone who needs it, though I will be concentrating more on 5-mans then raids.  While in the raid yesterday (Kara, which you now have on farm status) there was too much stuff going on behind me, with the kids and the wife, to ignore it for 4+ hours.  Plus, I had to relearn where all my keys were and remember everything there was to know about it (most of it I knew, though I was healing myself while nightbane landed, and thusly got called a noob) it was just...uh...no fun.  I'll help out if I'm needed but I want to concentrate in :  Leveling Ela'Jinn, Role Playing with my characters, and helping out younger members.

Of course, I will do things outside of that primary scope, as I always have, for grim members that need me.  Just please realize that I won't always be able to raid, not only for my personal lack of interest (Molten Core was still the best raid evar) but because I do have 3 step-kids now and a wife who also wants to play WoW, while we only have one computer atm (her computer died).  This may change as I get more used to playing my characters again, as well as other factors (kids not here, for example).

So, I hope you all still loooove me :)
