Addon Aggro

I downloaded an addon for healers called quartz. Every time I mount or rez someone it spams a message through /s, party and/or raid stating that i'm rezzing or mounting in one clever way or the other. It was kinda funny at first, then it got annoying. I tried to disable it with no luck. So I disinstalled it. All the timers and buff/debuff bars and everything I downloaded it in the first place for went away, but I get the same annoying spams. I checked my macros and there is nothing there.
Any ideas where I can shut it off?

If it is indeed Quartz that's causing the spam, you might have to go into your WTF>Account>account name>Saved Variables folder and delete the LUA files for Quartz. Those are basically your settings for an addon, so you can have it set up the same way if you go back to using an addon or move the to a new computer.

I'm still skeptical that's it's Quartz, though. It doesn't sound like something a cast bar addon would do. Any other addons you might have installed recently?

Quartz is strictly a casting bar mod. It's something else you downloaded.

Check for the Mounted and the GoGoMount addon. Also, you're a caster so put Quartz back!

Quartz is definitely not announcing you mounting up. I keep seeing those messages and I've never seen or heard of Quartz doing that. You have noticed that there is an ADD-ON button at the bottom left of your login screen (After username/password, at the character select very bottom left). Just disable those one at a time until it stops happening. The last one you disabled will be the culprit (obviously).

Don't start deleting files yet because I'm the one who has to fix this shit /shakefist

Yea, after I read Mohans reply I did that and found an add on I forgot I downloaded. It was some kind of priest add on that was complete bullshit and I'm glad to be rid of it. I was kinda hoping people would forget about this thread so I wouldn't have to admit my noobish mistake...
