Can someone help me fix my damn avatar? Every time I try to put in the pic i want it keeps telling me that it has to be no more than 6 KiB... and I can't seem to fix it...

Just resize it. Right click the picture on go to edit, if you don't have any editors installed use paint (right click > open with > paint). Then go to Image > resize and cut it down until it says it's under 6 kb
