Laptop backlight

Laptop is messing up in a weird way, the laptop backlight is turning off randomly, and so far it's only when playing WoW. I can't see anything but the sound is still there and when I get to windows I can see a very faint display of the windows bar. When I reboot I can see a very faint qosmio logo but I can't seem to get the light to come back. What is shitty is I can't tell if this is caused by wow or it's just a natural hardware failer.

Often when I restart and the light has not come back on I see a very faint error saying my computer has failed to restart and I should run windows recovery. The backlight comes back once in a while randomly

If you restart and the problem persists, it isn't WoW.
Did you check if anyone else is having this problem?

Just google the brand and make of your laptop with "screen turns off" or something of the sort and see if anyone else has ever reported this issue.

Also, if its still under warranty, call the manufacturer and ask them if this happens alot.
