If you're worried about people using FireSheep to sniff your login, you can find out if people are using FireSheep on the unsecured network using a different Firefox addon:

A firefox addon that sends you to the secure version of a site if it exists and is in their profile. Also, feel free to complain to any site that you use regularly that can't spend the $200/year it takes to get a wildcard cert. Or the $30/year is takes to protect a single FQDN.
