My favoritest little person evar!!

Here's my favorite person in the world. Angel, he's my step-daughter's kid, year and half old. Was born premature with Down Syndrome and had to stay in the hospital for a couple months toughing up for the world. Since Angel came to stay with us, he's been the ever present distraction and obstacle that has happily prevented me from raiding or doing anything that demands any kind of commitment from me. I'm happy with my 2-mans of horsey rides or a new toy or playing space man. He likes WoW, sits on my lap while I tweak my UI and tries to reach out and grab you guys (or anybody for that matter) on screen or makes an absolute complete disaster out of my desk by throwing anything within reach on the floor and laughing at me about it. He's a delightful little monster. I loves him more than Kaz loves rock.
Last Thursday my favorite little guy was diagnosed with Leukemia ( that's cancer for those who don't know.) Doctor's say its about the worst kind you can get, had have a "port" surgically implanted that is like a direct feed to his heart for meds. Also has a "G-tube" that will be used to nourish him as he will not want to eat while his given chemotherapy. For the couple years at least, he will spend a week in the hospital and then spend three weeks at home getting the strength back up for another round of chemo which will rinse and repeat each month. While he's on chemo I have to put on little blue plastic gloves and cannot touch him as the poison from chemo is coming out of his pores and I am not to touch him with my bare skin as that poison will seep into me. He does not enjoy being touched with plastic gloves and tries to take em off. Its adorable.
This little guy here is my primary source of joy and happiness and I'm heartbroken to learn that there might not be a long road ahead, but I'm optimistic that the little guy with pull through and live forever. On the bright side (if you can call it that) since he has Down Syndrome, his muscle structure and body are different than the average person, so he will handle the chemo better than the average child and its "less risky." I consider this to be lifes sick version of a consolation prize, gotta love it right.
