Bam.  Info up on mmochamp.

    * The Barrens will be split into two separate zones of two different level bands.
    * Azshara will become a low level (~10-20) zone.
    * Some of the zones like the Thousand Needles will be flooded.
    * Durotar is wrecked and apparently Orgrimmar could be destroyed. A new Orc city is rebuilt over the course of the expansion.
    * Gnomeregan will be part of the expansion as well and gnomes might be able to reclaim their capital. (The last part is still unconfirmed)
    * Wailing Caverns will be become a lush tropical area as a result of the druid's magic.
    * The Blackrock Spire will erupt and a new version of Blackrock Mountains will be available, apparently Ragnaros will be back too.

Flying in Azeroth
Part of the redesign of the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor is the introduction of flying to the two continents, allowing access to many new areas and quicker travelling across the large continents.

Classic Dungeon Revamp
Redesigning Onyxia's Lair in Patch 3.2.2 was just the first step. As most of the leveling will take place in revamped areas of Azeroth, so too will the dungeons, allowing players to use them to level from 80 to 85.

Unreleased Zones & Dungeons
With the addition of flying mounts to Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms and the redesign of many zones, most of the previously unreachable or incomplete zones will now be made available to players. This is where most of the new content from 80 to 85 will take place. Some of these are,

    * Hyjal (present)
    * Gilneas - The Worgen starting Zone.
    * Uldum

The New (New) Horde
Thrall will hand over the leadership of the Horde to Garrosh Hellscream, while he serves as a coordinator for both the Horde and Alliance forces in and effort to combat the new threat of the Naga and Black Dragonflight. Without Thrall to keep Garrosh in check, he declares open war on the Alliance. In the political upheaval Cairne Bloodhoof is implicated as a traitor to the Horde and murdered by Garrosh. Cairne's son Baine takes over as the new Tauren chieftan. This could explain why Baine was removed from the game in Patch 3.2.2, you can find more information about this in Ahmo Thunderhorn - replacement for Baine Bloodhoof?

I was just about to post this.  I'm actually really excited about this.  I love the lower level cap raise and improved old content.  Can't wait for more info.

Troll Druids?  Tauren Paladins?  hmmmmm..

I hope this is a joke and not the real thing.  Can Blizz get any lazier? Seriously.

I would honestly rather see revamped content and interesting world development than nonsensical additions to lore (KOFF BLUE TENTACLE ALIENS FROM SPACE KOFF). A lot of the charm to WoW is the detailed setting and the way the world feels 'genuine'; adding some random new area would be less cool than dealing with the twisted strands of plot that have just been sitting there for two or three years.

My complaint: Garrosh as warchief? Bah! SAURFANG FOR WARCHIEF.

That's cool.  I hope they do something with Grim Batol too.  There's a rumor that Deathwing is hiding out under there.

Yeah, I'm going to have to go with Saurfang here. Especially if Garrosh murders Cairne? There will be a schism. Oh yes.

They should have done that sometime ago instead of focusing on other lands.  I agree completely that the Draenei addition is total ass.  My fear is that they redo craptastic instances like Maraudon and Sunken Temple.  Also I wonder if Blizz will be lazy and not change everything that needs to be changed like the demise of the Scarlet Crusade.  Not to mention lorewise Onyxia is as dead as Julius Ceasar.  Of course with this new release it means that power wise, Arthas is weaker then Azshara and Deathwing.  Which also means that Deathwing is stronger then 2 older gods.

Hope they untangle that dilema.

The idea of Garrosh murdering Cairne and the Tauren then staying allied with the orcs is stupid. Garrosh is complete ass.

Very stupid.  Just like Thrall becoming the Guardian of Triisfall instead of Jaina who would be a better fit.

I think most of this is just speculation. I dont trust the original post that all these rumors are sprouting from. Maybe truth to lots, but this may -also- be BLizz's way of market research on lore. Mebee their guaging the nerd rage ya know?
