We've apparently become popular! We're still not on Google's front page for search results, but we are attracting spammers like an airdrop of cake into a fat camp.
So, since my gentle use of antispam isn't working as well as I liked, I'm going to become more draconian. If you lose access to the forums, as in "you can't see the forums, period," please let one of the officers or myself know. They'll be able to nudge me so I can fix your problem.
And if anyone of you are currently playing from mainland China, Taiwan, Korea, or Denmark....let me know. You're about to get hit by the banhammer due to your idiotic bretheren.

Afraid about the cyber RP Ach?
I'll fix that. Minor oversight on my part.
As for Brazil and SA. I know we have a few players down there. Right now, they're not giving me too much grief. So no, you'll be fine my equatorial friends.
What you people don't see is the roughly 2 megs of denied webtraffic (and dns queries...and ssh hacking attempts) a day. No worries on my bandwidth (I have 400 gig a month) but it's bogging down the server here...so I'm gonna lock that up.

Denmark: it's really one hacked machine or proxy from there...so no worries. Still sucks I have to do surgery on that.
And yes, the logs have always been public. Seems like Google found them fairly recently (and by some magic...nothing links to them!). I've requested they be unindexed and stay that way...however, it has always been an open server (federated nonetheless! Know someone's thegrim.org Jabber server I.D. and you can chat with them thru Google Chat/Mail!).

Chatologs for Jabber, Q. for those slackers who like to chat to grim while working.
"Neither do I like jumping foot, because it encourages the habit of jumping, and a jumpy spirit. However much you jump, there is no real justification for it; so jumping is bad." Go Rin No Sho (Book of Five Rings), Miyamato Musashi (1584-1645), translated by Victor Harris.
