So. With 3.1 we will have Shadow Priests, Retnoobs, Surv Huntards, Destro Lols, and Frost Mages. And yet they want to make mana more of an issue?

It looks like the are going to nerf regen across the board.

Not so much for me, as I don't get much mana back outside the 5 second rule.  The in-combat mp5 should remain unchanged.

Yeah, those who work with in-combat regen (dps casters, hunters, shaman, paladins) shouldn't see much of a change, primarily it will only be healing priests and druids, who rely on FSR regen during long fights that this will effect.

I am a healing druid and I really don't rely on FSR regen that much.  It's been a while since I even need to drink a mana pot.

I want my GCDs back! You shut up about no mana regen.

They want to make mana regen more of an issue, but they have stated that they are designing fights assuming you have replenishment in the raid - this just assures you will in 10 mans and the like.

10 mans without Replenishment are brutal.  Even in my 'never run out of mana spec' I had an empty blue bar almost every fight.

But they're trying to discourage healers from standing around for 5 seconds doing nothing because of the drastic regen they get out of casting.  I don't know if any of our healers make use of that frequently?
