Anyone else have issues connecting to Twisting Nether?

Can log onto other servers, but not TN.
(ref: http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/threa ... 8&sid=1#11)

Did some checking on Blizz's site, and seems this may not be the first occurence.
Be nice to know if other Bell sympatico users have similar problems, but older similar issues seemed to include other services as well.

Of note, seems that I'm on a new project, wo will be travelling to Ottawa on a semi-regular basis.  Not sure on the schedule yet but if that's the case, might be easier for me to join some raid groups in the middle of the week at more reasonable hours.  We'll see....

It's AT&T blocking IPs coming out of Canada, as what Thal said last night. Honestly, as I had said to her in response, I think it's time for Blizzard to look for a new networking partner, as all AT&T has ever done is fuck things up.

Pretty much what Quizzy stated.  After getting booted last night despite a rock solid connection I hit the tech support forums.  AT&T is blocking ISP's mostly in Ontario and mainly in our battlegroup and one other.  All the traces show as soon as the signal hits AT&T's stuff, they time out.

People are blaming Bell but Bell is stating its at Blizzards end and Blizzard has yet to respond and traces show the problem is AT&T.

Intersting.
Working today.
WhenI did a tracert, no problems all the way to Bliz, but then again that was generic.  Could get onto other servers, so this lends support to the battlegroup, kinda.  You'd think it'd be the same routing.  Seems pretty...selective.

Well, if it's AT&T changin providers on my end won't help.

Blizz has data centers all across the country. I have a 30ms ping to EST servers, 50ms to Central (ours) and 75ms to the west coast servers. (go, go super sexy FioS :) )

Sadly, there's not really anybody else but AT&T with the size and capacity to handle it these days. The other big back bone/telecom people used to be MCI/Worldcom but, of course, they're in the shitter now.

Remember though AT&T corporate has almost nothing to do with AT&T home or AT&T wireless. They are our wan provider at work and they do provide 99.999% up time. (With 60,000 employees in over 200 locations all connected in one evil complex corporate wan).
