On a semi related note, I still remember three years ago seeing chain lighting for the first time during a Hillsbrad battle and thinking "god damn thats intense". It was my sole motivating factor for rolling a shaman. I shit you not.

I've known a few people who build Tesla coils for performances and Burning Man. Always looked like fun to me.
