Also of note with the new guild UI, theres a "roster" tab that allows you to show everyone's tradeskills, rating in said skill, and links the crafting screen so you can see everything they make. So no more need for forum pages to keep track of that. We are also benefited from crafting each other items, its one of the many things that tracked by the guild leveling system, and the guild benefits from each person profession skill rankings. Theres a "recruiting" tab that gives a brief synopsis of what our interests and focuses are by use of check boxes, all kinds of neato looking stuff that wasn't explained much with that panel. The main guild tab shows our experience rating, and all the stuff that each person has recently done to benefit the guild, sort of like a guild achievement screen. Hell even leveling characters earns guild exp.
I'm not leadership, but these reasons certainly stand a strong case for absorbing BMR alts and should certainly be considered, especially when more details pan out.
Keeping BMR as a buffer for new non-Grim applicants seems an option, but then we don't take advantage of that persons achievements, levelling, tradeskills what have you that could benefit the Grim. Lots to consider there.
