Isn't that about vampires?

Also of note with the new guild UI, theres a "roster" tab that allows you to show everyone's tradeskills, rating in said skill, and links the crafting screen so you can see everything they make.  So no more need for forum pages to keep track of that.  We are also benefited from crafting each other items, its one of the many things that tracked by the guild leveling system, and the guild benefits from each person profession skill rankings.  Theres a "recruiting" tab that gives a brief synopsis of what our interests and focuses are by use of check boxes, all kinds of neato looking stuff that wasn't explained much with that panel.  The main guild tab shows our experience rating, and all the stuff that each person has recently done to benefit the guild, sort of like a guild achievement screen.  Hell even leveling characters earns guild exp.

I'm not leadership, but these reasons certainly stand a strong case for absorbing BMR alts and should certainly be considered, especially when more details pan out.

Keeping BMR as a buffer for new non-Grim applicants seems an option, but then we don't take advantage of that persons achievements, levelling, tradeskills what have you that could benefit the Grim.  Lots to consider there.

What I know about them I got from all the snark online.  And my friend dragged me to the movie.  I did try reading it, so I wasn't one of those people who bitch about something without knowing, yeah...I didn't get very far.

And to be honest you would have to be blind, deaf and dumb not to have gotten the very basics of the books and movie from all the attention they get.  The fans really are just that loud.

I read the first book because my poor sister-in-law had no one to giggle to about the book. I'll never get those ten hours back.

But back on topic!

Kaz, those guild UI advancements sound effing AWESOME. God, I can't wait for this expansion already, and they've barely even fed us ANYTHING about it.

I'm giddy about this.

I think, for the Grim, the Guild Advancement system is going to be fascinating.
With the whole game world changing along with the inclusion of two new races, there will be a glut of new toons.
This new system will give new/rerolling guild members a feeling of contribution and teamwork that they've never had before.
Maxed characters and leveling ones alike will have a sense of accomplishment for their guild.

Plus, I can finally have the Tauren Priest I always wanted.
This is really important to consider--in essence, BMR's only reason for existence after these changes will be because we don't want "guild bloat" from people like Krin and Grainger who have a butt-load of 80s. But that seems like a secondary concern when they're contributing to the guild in a ton of ways just by having those 80s. Like Kaz mentioned earlier, we may want to think about how our BMR recruitment and revamp is going to counteract these guild advancement goals in Cataclysm.
we dont know how guild tallents work yet. if you can not get them all it maybe best to make a pve guild and a pvp guild.

The Grim's intention has always been to be good at PvE and PvP while we roleplay, so I'm not sure I'd really like the idea of splitting us up along those lines. I don't even really love the BMR/Grim split and the Wardens channel as it is now anyway.

my point is that we dont know if that would be what they are trying to lean to with guild tallents

they have already said there will be a aoe rez in there. what if each tree has 20 points that you can go into and the buttom of the tree of the pvp tree aoe rez.
im sure there are alot of times cistrok would want that in his city raids.

some how I have a fealing that there will be a pve and a pvp tree and that you will not beable to get all the stuff that you want in one guild. do we make the guild as a hole lackluster just to have both or do we split the guild maybe somthing we face in the soon.

I really doubt that they'll do that just because there are guilds like ours that do both.

Regarding the expansion, I am pleased to finally see Human and Forsaken Hunters.
The first one of you to roll a Forsaken Hunter with a disease-ridden, horrifying pet gets candy.

Also, will Worgen ride giant wolves?
For those of you discussing Twilight werewolf vampire make-outs, just ponder that one.

I think concept art showed them on big-ass boars, which is even cooler.
