I have Breaking News, no mention of 9:00 PDT (11:00 server) and I get handshaking after my authenticator prompt and thats it.

Okay Cessily...heres two things you can try before a entire resinstall. depends on what haqin can do for you

Option 1. the easy method if Haqin can help.

1. Go to your wow folder
2. Go into the data folder
3. find the file "common-2.mpq"
4. Get Haqin to make a copy of this file that is working on his computer, take it over to your computer, and replace your corrupted one.
5. Attempt to reboot, repair if needed.

Option 2. slightly less easy, and reliant on blizz repair working

1. Go to your wow folder
2. Go into the data folder
3. Delete "common-2.MPQ"
4. use repair function.

it'll note the missing file, and hopefully starta real repair.

I don't have a common-2 file in my data folder. I have these:

common.mpq

expansion.mpq

patch-2.mpq

patch.mpq

well as of midnight - 1 am est as i logged in just to see if that was working my raptor, gyrocoptor, and netherwing are still gone from my inventory and my pets tab isn't there. i know now that there is a notice up about that but where is the notice so that i can go read what they say exactly about it? people say their pet tab is empty, but i don't even have a pet tab

and while this is a much lesser issue, i can't believe that so many things are labeled as incomplete on my achievements such as delves which i completed and places i have explored. mapping is my favorite part of the game and i love exploring even where i only get a map note but no part of the map is revealed. i was sort-of looking forward to the achievements but wow they really fucked up on tracking what was previously done and now i am quite turned off of it

As far as I know the only way they could track alot of the previous dungeon/raid accomplishments is if you either completed a quest relating to its completion or if you have a piece of loot still from its completion. I am missing quite a few I did as well

well, got my raptor and drake back. just waiting on my gyrocoptor.

i think i understand now why i didn't have all the explore points anymore. new structures were built which i haven't seen since last being in the zone. i guess they blanked those spots on the map. at least that's what i think happened
