Steam Challenges (Free stuff)

The Potato Sack and then the Steam Summer Sale were so successful that Steam decided to do a Holiday/Christmas version. If you did not participate in the first two then here is something you should know:

Every day there is a free challenge (Like add a Steam friend or accomplish a Free to Play Steam Achievement.).

The games on sale each day match up with the challenges for that day.

7 Pieces of 'coal' can be crafted into a random gift.

With that in mind you are pretty much guaranteed a free game if you participate in all of the free achievements which are at the top of the list for each day. If you have a large library of games or if you purchase the games on sale you will be able to further participate and unlock more gifts. This is going on for several more days.

I just snagged Nuclear Dawn because it looked like the old failure C&C: Renegades that never really made it off of the ground. I logged in and played a few rounds. A couple with a good commander and a couple with a bad one. Good tactical gameplay.
