Nope, steams version just has the Steam DRM. Where as DA2 has SecureROM which Bioware repeatedly stated they were not going to use. I smell a lawsuit since its not mentioned anywhere on the packaging, website or promotional material and EA lost a lawsuit over the issue in the past.
