We'll see what page two says... but so far page one doesn't say shit except things about minor characters... which I don't think anybody in the lore category is really bitching about.
I don't have much reference to the "why" of this article, but so far it just looks like a yes man trying to suck on the teet of his overlord and master. The author is god? Sure... but the readers are his worshippers - and we hold the power to praise or forsake him. That's what Clash of the Titans told me, at least. Bwhahahaha!
Nothing enlightening really. Just some people who draw preconceived perceptions of the reality they have their characters living in and not wishing to change ... compared to people who are eager for a new twist or angle into something becoming more fleshed out for inclusions sake. Neither camp is wrong.
People just like what they like.
The same comparison could be made for those that liked the original World of Darkness Vampire the Masquerade setting and consider all the supplements and added WoD games to be bastardizing the feel of the genre that was originally created. While others feel it just fleshes out things for inclusions sake.
And other comparisons ad nauseum.
