From what I've read, it's the emcor.dll file you need to watch out for. I've seen it recommended to do a search for that file before you log into WoW each time.
Just be careful what sites you go to. Make sure it's actually the url you want, and not just one similar.
I got a tell in game yesterday from someone trying to look official. It said something like "Dear players, we at Blizzard want to compensate you for server downtime. Please go to somelamesite.com to claim your free game time." If it looks too good to be true, it probably is!
