The letter is carried into the guild hall by a ghoul that has for sure seen better days. The parchment is as fine as the letter she once originally wrote, but this time the ink is the color of crimson, the script screams of contained rage, violent upstrokes and downstrokes of the tip of the quill, and sporadic tears in the parchment itself.
Dear Grim,
This goes to all of you, or none of you in particular. I realize I left without much of an explanation many weeks ago. My family was in danger, and both myself and my sister have suffered for not being prepared to face that danger. I met my death...and Nanori, well she had to deal with learning of my death when she did not have a chance to intercede or protect me after her torture at the hands of the Dusk Watch. Needless to say as I am writing, I am no longer...dead.
Many of you do not know the full story, if necessary I will explain it all, but it is far too much to really write in a letter...especially since I do not know who's hands this letter has fallen into.
I can be contacted through my courier, as you can see...he's rather stinky...so I'm sure you'll want him out of the guild hall as soon as possible.
Sincerely,
Kailei Windstalker
Former Champion of the Blood Knights
