Bloodshine, Matron of the Sandfury (Farraki)

Unread post by Lilliana »

Bloodshine knew where she was going. The trail was not lost to her, even if her allegiance no longer rested with the strong warriors that dedicated their lives to such things as peace. Peace through annihilation, of course. She had always enjoyed The Grim's black and white ways which were quite appealing in a world of war and chaos. And so she returned, many years later, to re-apply to the strong guild where she had seen the end of many things, including her daughter after a long battle with Warneshi and Slys'Thok that The Grim had a heavy part in winning.

Bloodshine came to the entrance of The Grim's great halls, and placed her letter of request there. Held aloft and secured by a shaman's totem's that she called forth to the ground by ancient magics too dark for a shaman's care, her application reads:

"Dear Grim,

I request application to your guild and army. I once fought alongside the brothers and sisters of The Grim before, as did my daughter in days gone by. It has been many years, and I have not forgotten the strong creatures that you are. I wish to hold rank among you. I have traveled a long way to come before you once again. Let me join forces with you. You won't be disappointed.

Bloodshine
Matron of the Sandfury"

Although the Sandfury are all but a memory, having formed an allegiance which finds them known as the Farraki in more recent times since the dragon laid ruin to the lands, Bloodshine keeps her old title when corresponding with others. This is who she was, after all.

Bloodshine's dark eyes checked the totem and the application to ensure it was safe to leave it there. She checked the wind, sniffing, and pausing to listen, her ears keen to listen. Once she was certain there was no suggestion that a Grim was about (although she was quite sure there were, crafty demons that they be), she left astride her undead mount, a creature her daughter stole from the baron once he was dead, back in days even her old memory had a hard time remembering.
