"Not so much force, demon." Mutters a tall undead female, followed in by her felguard. Glancing swiftly about the room, she strides forward to a meager table and a chair.
Upon seating she pulls ink and quill from her sack, and spies a folded letter before her. Notes the name upon the letter, Joe'luer, and chuckles quietly to herself, whilst flipping it over and begins to scratch away on the back.

"It seems I have found the right place, my name is Jehsalyn. I introduce myself to the Grim as a lonely scholar on the journey for knowledge and power. Through whispers and tales I find myself in your hall asking for a place amongst your well known ranks."

Leans back with a sigh, and rises slowly. She turns and walks back through the door. Her felguard shutting the door with a harsh thud, you can hear her sharp words through the wood. "What did I just tell you, beast?"

The mage walked through the guild hall door wearily, leaning his weight upon his staff for support. The journey through the past to the Well of Eternity had been draining, but the triumphant look to his eye bespoke of his victory. He had gained the lost knowledge he sought.

He shuffled to a nearby table to sit and rest. The simple chair creaked under his frame as fingers drummed across the tabletop before him. His eyes lost in thought absently wandered across its surface, falling upon the letter there. He blinked as he recognized the script. "It cannot be...." he whispered.

His hand snaked out as he leaned forward, taking up the paper, and his green eyes devoured every word written upon it. After a moment, he sank back in the chair, letting the letter fall back to the table. "Jehsalyn," he breathed as old memories flooded through his mind. Memories of pain, joy, and sorrow. Of rivalry, friendship, and even more. Feelings flashed through him, feelings he had thought long forgotten and gone.

He shook his head to clear it. Jafyals quickly stood and rushed out the door, the letter left where it had fallen back on the table.
