Spiriting through in the dead of night, The Malebrignon pauses to examine the missive addressed with familiar writing and mumbles: "So the Whore returns; my sources lied about her death....Let us hope she has left her legacy of failure behind. It seems I will linger a bit longer and watch how this plays out." He considers burning the note, but replaces it unharmed and floats away as quickly and quietly as he arrived.
