Branded Leather Letter

It has reached my ears that you are a people who bear a respect for the power of blood -- the power in spending it, in taking it, in spilling it, and -- the reason I am writing you now -- in gathering it. As you are gathering 'new blood' under your banner, I seek to add mine.
I have met The Grim before, though not in this life. In a previous life, my soul had the shame to wear the skin of a Dwarf. In that life we fought, you and I. And you cut me down.
It was then that I learned the power of spilt blood. And the power of The Grim.
This life shall go very differently. Let us spill blood together. Let our magics combine.
