A leather-bound notebook delivered to Grim leadership

"Sware a've not seen anyone who'da carried somefin' dis crazy. But I know you'se guys got some...talents...dis sounds like it might b'long ta one o' yers." The man glances around, clearly terrified of the eyes boring into him from seemingly every angle. Dismissed with a nod, he nearly staggers back to the door, vanishing from the guild hall.
The notebook appears to be the educated hand of a doctor. The notes are concise, specific, and detail several procedures across more than one "acquired" Alliance "test subject." Hand-drawn images of body parts, carefully annotated notes regarding the weaknesses of specific joints, combined with further discoveries and theories. More unsettling are the discoveries that several of the procedures annotated were conducted while the subjects were still alive. It would appear that this notebook belongs to a set of some sort, with annotations regarding separate volumes and follow-up experiments either pending or under way.
Regarding the actual dialogue of the author, the flowing but conservative handwriting has penned the following among the most recent of entries...
Recent activity amongst the Alliance rabble, along with the death of the human "king" Wrynn, has prompted a redoubling of my efforts in creating further methods of psychological manipulation. The minds of our enemies, so broken and terrified at the overwhelming power the Burning Legion represents, are easy research specimens. Recent fieldwork, including the capture and experimentation on a handful of subjects, has revealed a satisfyingly high number of advancements regarding the application of pestilence or other such detrimental maladies.
I have discovered more powerful methods of melting human skin, dissolving eyes, internal destruction of organs, and other highly sought after means of sowing death and destruction through enemy ranks. During a war, even with demons, one would surmise that the business of death would be easy money...
Alas, the problem. Recent efforts have been pushed toward avoiding these things. With the death of our beloved Vol'jin, Lady Windrunner having taken a sort of liking to Wrynn, who blundered his way into the receiving end of warlock hatred, the Horde is faltering under the political landscape. I do chuckle, though, knowing that Wrynn died at the hands of what was once one of our own.
I once ascribed to politics and a delicate touch on the social agenda, but with the danger growing by the year, the threats promising greater and greater catastrophe, we are fools to play the "wait and see" card with our enemies. I can abide enemy presence only in short terms. Knowing Wrynn died so easily encourages me to believe the rest of his "Alliance" will only fall so easily, so quickly, and, very very painfully.
Finding kindred spirits has been something of a chore as of late, as most don't want to be involved with my work, or even let me work in peace. I must find somewhere that I can work in secret, or at least with some measure of privacy. My last location was perfect...if only the gnome had been gagged when I performed that amputation...
