Letters seldom made their way to Awatu's office, and the ones that did typically pertained to more political tasks requiring specific actions. However, letters of intent from potential Supplicants never arrived at the Commander's desk. Unless the High Inquisitor had not been receiving mail...

Placed neatly on the High Inquisitor's desk is the letter of one named 'Kriga'. Alongside is an open letter and a stonework knife with a kodo-horn handle. The note reads:

"High Inquisitor,

Should another one of these letters be found upon my desk, I would like for you take this knife and remove one of your ears and give it to The Shadowblade for her amusement.

Final warning.

Awatu Stonespire, The Commander of The Grim."

Kiannis stands in silence as he reads the open note. His features grow stern upon its completion, and he takes up the rudimentary blade. Inspecting the tool, he runs a bare thumb over the dull cutting edge and considers the material, his appreciation for the thing shown in something of a twisted scowl. A moment is taken to regain composure, before he gingerly places both items in the uppermost drawer of the desk.

Looking now at the letter of Intent, Kiannis lifts the paper to scan it over. No location, or bearing, He frowns, folding it twice so as to slip it into one of his many gear pouches. Not a moment later, he is out the office and down the hallway, using two fingers to emitt a shrill whistle as a signal for his bloodhound. The pair stalk swiftly out the halls, on the hunt for a displaced darkspear revolutionary.
