An old orc returns...

Unread post by Skash_Bloodbringer »

*Skash walked up to the old guild hall after many years away. He had returned from the wilderness, wondering if any of his old friends and guildmates still remained within the grim*

*Snarfing down a pie, Skash breathed deeply and banged on the door and yelled:*

Oi! Grim! Skash back! Skash want back in! Skash still like pie an smashing things with old Grim!

*Hides all the pie*

If the people raise a great howl against my barbarity and cruelty, I will answer that war is war, and not popularity seeking.

Ruuki looked up from the mountain of paperwork left to her as the poundings and words echoed down the corridors. She frowned... why did that name sound familiar? She moved a stack aside and rummaged for a certain list, reading in what silence could be had for a moment before getting up and heading to the vault.

Skash was still pounding away on the door when she opened it, staring down at the orc with an arched eyebrow.

"Skash, was it? Then I believe this belongs to you." She held out the tabard that had been set aside as his, carefully maintained and in as pristine a condition as could be for one that had seen so many battles.

"Welcome home."

*Skash slowly picks up the tabbard, and drapes it over his chest. He puffs with pride, now wearing the colours of his guild and friends.*

Ul-Rezaj stirred from his deep meditation on the Shadowlands. He retrieved his scythe and his skull, staring at the intruder. Had this one been hidden, he wondered, behind the unpierced veil of the void? Silently, calmly, he observed with a reserved expression as the returning champion shambled along on his way to the kitchen. Anyone bold enough to return to the halls and lunge straight for the kitchen should also be bold enough to rush right into the front.

Lilliana was very late to getting to the door. But when she did she slid to a halt beside Ruuki in utter shock.

"Skash? What the fraaaack?" The last time Skash saw her she was kind of dead, soul drank by Warneshi. "Skash, Skash, Skash, Skaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaash?!!!!!"
