Aziris' Intent

A common letter arrives, envelope slightly mangled and dirty. The postmark stamped on it is a few weeks old. A new, pre-stamped envelope is clipped to the back, and removing it reveals why. The tardy correspondence is sealed with wax impressed by a Royal Apothecary Society seal. Perhaps the postage-paid envelope is an attempt by the postman to soothe ire for the incompetence that led to an RAS letter getting lost in the sorting center.
The letter inside mostly escaped the harsh treatment of foot travel, dusty floors, and vermin nibbling. The script is neat and precise.
